Problem is, most pancake and waffle recipes don't provide the most balanced meal.
I love how you clarified the Pam Anderson thing Molly because I too was briefly confused and found myself wondering if Pam (of Baywatch fame) had some secret waffle recipe I didn't know about (maybe she does?).

recipe (gave Cook's Illustrated yeasted
waffle a try but it was no match to JoC's) What
do you think of adding vanilla to Marion's

Although the idea for this
recipe had been on my mind for a few months, I didn't have a
waffle maker!
If you don't have any cooked chicken on hand (or don't want to get sauce all over your
waffle iron pan), follow the
recipe but don't add the hot sauce, chicken (obviously) and green onions to your batter.
Whip the egg whites in a mixer (heidi note: I'm still not sure if they meant whip or whisk... the
recipe doesn't say anything about whipping into peaks, and it doesn't say anything later about carefully folding in the whites, so this time I went on the assumption that they really meant for us to whisk the whites a bit - folding in whites might be interesting too though, and might lighten up the
waffles a bit.)
One with nice big indents is best for this kind of
recipe (generally a called a Belgian
waffle iron) but, any
waffle iron will
do.
this doesn't list protein, is that because there is none, or
did you forget it, the other
waffle recipe with coconut flour and 4 eggs has 12.2 g protein.
We both declared them the best
waffles ever so we don't even want to try another
recipe.
Overall it is a pretty basic
waffle recipe, and doesn't use any flour or other grains.

recipe is a bit to thin to use in one - i think it would only create a mess as it doesn't rise very much...

I didn't happen to have a banana

Sugar is usually added to make the
waffles crisp, but in this
recipe, the coconut
does that job, so sugar free is easy.
The HTBE
recipe, thankfully,
does not produce this result, just delicious, creamy, lemon tart filling (which you could also use to top pancakes or
waffles, spread on muffins, or as the filling for most any cake or cookie, really.)
