the waistband too, and thought oh no!
I love that they have a huge
waistband too.
I don't find the elastic
waistband too tight or too high either, which is a common problem with ponte pants.
We're knee - deep in the holidays, which means that a lot of well - intentioned folks are getting on the scale to make sure that gelt candy and those sugar cookies aren't hitting
their waistbands too hard.

waistband must not be set
too high or
too low.
My kid is fairly skinny, but the leg holes were
too snug compared with the
waistband (we couldn't have gone larger).
If the diaper is tight enough to cause chafing around the leg cuffs and
waistband, it is probably
too tight.

The waist sits an inch longer on me than is flattering on my shape
too, so I may have to figure out if there's a way to shorten it that doesn't mess up the pleat detailing of the
waistband; if not I'll just have to stick to adding a belt to it like I did in these pictures to try to draw the eye to my natural waist shape better.
It is so comfortable and has a
waistband that is a bit stretchy... so if you eat
too much at a going away party (like I may have yesterday), it is still comfortable.
The shoulders of the 8 were slipping off and the
waistband was

The only thing I did was add 3/4» to the
waistband past your suggestion (I thought it would be
too tight) and that was a mistake that I had to go back and fix.
My gathered parts are
too large for the
waistband sections, so I'm going to unwind the thread tails at one end, and pull them up tighter so the skirt fits the
waistband.
Being not massively full of sugar, you can just about eat these with your morning coffee and not feel
too guilty that the other kinda muffin (over
waistband) is not expanding rapidly with each bite.
