I recently posted this status update to Facebook: «I pretty much
only want to wear elastic
waist pants for the next 3 months but has anyone tried Athleta's Sculptek skinny
jeans, and if so, do you love them?
Not
only are high
waisted jeans really big for spring this year, but that frayed, undone hem is a huge trend this year.
If I'm fortunate enough to get petite
jeans, I
only have to worry about the
waist gap; if I get average
jeans I need to hem them as well.
You go to the store to buy yourself a pair of
jeans, finally find something you can fit your legs into,
only to find out you have a
waist larger than you thought, bulging because of the extra fat.
A great way to prevent rib thrusting when «zipping» is to think * not
only * of «zipping up» the core (i.e. likening it to the feeling of zipping up a pair of high -
waisted jeans), but also of buttoning the top button after you zip up.
Can anyone tell me if I'm the
only one who experiences slide down
jeans if
waist is too big and they fit in the rear.
On the one hand, when done right, they're just like skinny
jeans only more comfortable (hooray for elastic
waist bands!).
I'm pretty sure a lot of you have encountered the same problem, but look no further, I found the best pair of high
waisted ripped
jeans you can
only imagine.
I've often resorted to buying
jeans in the kid's sections just so the
waist will fit,
only to have them make my butt look crazy (not a good type of crazy, either).
Turtlenecks not
only look amazing with a pair of high
waisted jeans or even denim cut offs.
so far the
only thing I seem to be seeing consistently is lacing... lacing on the legs of
jeans, lacing on the arms of tees, lacing at the
waist of sweaters & sweatshirts.
On the bootcut
jeans tip, I've actually started thrifting
jeans by looking
only at how they fit my
waist, hips, and thighs, and getting them tailored to have straight, slim legs.
High -
waisted jeans were the
only thing I could wear for months (besides sweatpants, obviously), and to this day, there are times when my scar still gets irritated and I pull them back out.
My
only pearl of wisdom would be that remember just like your
jeans, you want it to fit snugly on the
waist and be prepared for a little stretching of the fabric.
After having two kids it's the
only thing I can wear... so so comfortable that I keep asking myself why I was wearing low

only wear mid or high
waisted jeans and these look like a pair that I would definitely wear.
You know that feeling when you're
