thirdly, altho i do nt particularly like
walcott at CF, he's better than giroud.
i'd start
walcott at bayern and giroud next sat at everton.
agree: put
walcott at cf; then if we're comfortable, let iwobi have a go.
but
walcott at times looks like he doesn't care about defending and isn't trying at all.
sanchez at LW,
walcott at RW and sh*t rod at striker.
sadly, i think
the walcott at CF question has been settled and its not looking good for walcott.
keeping
walcott at an absurd increase in wages, cutting wage bill elsewhere by unloading fringe players and convincing the idiot fan base that in giroud, walcott, coquelin and ramsey he had 150m dollars worth of footballing talent to unleash was what defined the summer window.....
if sanogo's fit & not going to be loaned out, i expect him at CF, sanchez at LW, caz at CAM,
walcott at RW (subbed by ox later on).
i can not understand some guys are so negative imagine we get vardy at 25 mill and sell
walcott at 20 or even 15 isnt that a goood deal???? walcot is at 140k / week Vardy might get the same still we are much better off with vardy than walcot
wonder if AW will have guts to try out sanchez or
walcott at CF versus newcastle?
i'd play
walcott at cf versus bournemouth so giroud can have a think.
i'll be v.interested to see if he goes w sanchez or
walcott at CF versus newcastle.
may have played
walcott at CF. but then who on RW?
Not exact matches
ideal game to bring back xhaka for carzola put on perez for
walcott and give adelaide a shot
at glory... let c what the impotent one does
Sterling might be worse
at crossing and finishing, but else than that he's a better player if we exclude
Walcotts pace.
Giroud plus injury prone
walcott plus unproven Akpom is not enough, no matter which way you look
at it.
just like hazard... over priced
at 30 million so lets go for cheaper option like poldi he will pair with
walcott and blah blah blah....
well,
at least we can play ozil - cazorla - ramsey together... cech bellerin - gabriel - Koss - Monral Coq - Ramsey
walcott - cazorla - alexis ozil
we are so far behind the last four of the CL that if wwenger is a serious manager he has to admit that
at least two real quality signings are essential if we are to compete in epl and cl next year...
walcott probably one of the most overrated players in the history of the epl... not really his fault to be honest... but its time to move on
There are loads of Pl proven strikers I'd take a punt
at over
walcott: chicarito, shane long, Connor Wickham, Leonardo ujoa, ighalo etc etc if we were going for vardy we could be going for these and more.
If only
walcott was fit and Sanchez still
at his best Ozil would've surpassed ten right now, one love gunners.
If you look
at our most viable options for the liverpool game cech bellerin chambers gabriel monreal elneny xhaxa iwobi ramsey sanchez
walcott This is just not right.
out
WALCOTT expensive > productive GIBBS
at his age needs first team
at a lower team to become better (sturridge, bertrand, glen johnson are some examples)
It is quite another to say to a young player, you are no3 striker after giroud, who will go on a goal drought
at some point and
walcott who wants to play on the wing and will almost certainly get injured.
now wengers absurd transfer policy «is down to you people»... seriously krish n`chips... the acolytes of the delusional one are beginning to sound even more of a parody than the master himself...
walcott is a very very average player with one good season in 12 years
at the club... the fact that wenger hasnt sold him is part of the sorry state of our club and the idea that this can be blamed on fans who want to see us back challenging for top trophies is frankly offensive
And mert (with all the talking) could really use the bench for a while, gabriel is twice as good even in the air with more goal scoring chances as a defender, mert's never been so useful
at corners anyway...... and
walcott seems to bring with him.....
nah disagree,
Walcotts never been described as being on the top level, Begovic on the other hand has been getting rave reviews for years, so what you say isnt true.Because hes
at Stoke he may not get the media attention, but i wanted to get him for years, of course Cech has been a great keeper, but David James does havea point about their ages and their relative prices.
I also think he knows things will improve when injured players return and are
at their best, (ozil and
walcott particularly).
Sell
walcott, give ox one more go
at establishing himself, not sure about gibbs, we need him for cover.
They were willing to offer
walcott # 60k per week and suggested that arsenal pay
walcott a severance payment of # 12m which equated to three years of lost salary
at # 80k per week.
my only hope is wenger to buy kanté of leicester.this guy is a beast
at dm position with a good technical and physical quality.with him and coq in midfield against barca we can hope for anything special to happen.with finally olivier giroud slowly becoming WC striker,
walcott most efficient and campbell who is a revelation this season, the return of alexis we can be dangerous against any defence.our only weak position is a dm position and wenger won't have any excuz this mercato bcoz there are players available that we can buy if we want.plz wenger go for
at least one of this: kanté, wanyama, w.carvalho, l.bender, krychowiak, biglia, neves, l.gustavo, rabiot... if we try to sign s.roberto he will be a good addition with great quality.gunner for life!!!
at this stage, we all knw how deadly
walcott could be when on form...... would u even consider weaponizing a rival an option?
I left out
walcott because he is also.not A + category and only one of
walcott and giroud is on the field
at the same time
He's just honing in his skills and stamina and will go back to the center permanently when
walcott returns imo
at least.
When
walcott plays we look like a different team,
at least to me, and i think it is because his main strengths lie in that ability to beat the offside trap and his movement off the ball is world class.
If
walcott cant use his pace and agility, then why bother playing him as a central attacker, or even
at all — when the attack is all about them passes, no shooting or powerplay
that tactic worked fantastically
at the star of this season where
walcott performed and it worked brilliantly for the team but after the injury of Theo, giroud had his dry patch and theo almost did nt even try... and the year before welbeck played reaaaally bad as a starting striker and scored 4 goals or something i think, if he had one worldclass or equally good striker as giroud, we would have enough and wenger could rotate them according to the patch / form of giroud like what he intended to do with
walcott and giroud, which i had high hopes for but sadly only worked for half the season
Theo is going to make a massive difference, if we can field: sanchez, ox,
walcott and welbeck
at the same time we probably have the paciest attack in the world
Walcott, take ur chance, I don't think
walcott deserves a pay rise, not
at all... He has to prove his mettle, wen he scored 21 goals that season, arsene had no choice but to giv him what he wanted... Same is applicable here
Look
at most of
Walcotts shots this season they are just finesse or small, delicate touches in front of goal no real commitment there
at the moment.
I would rest those three for a while and only bring on
walcott for giroud
at the 70 + mins mark.
he need to look and get some balls... look
at alexis or another players... i want wenger out and i wanted that 5 years ago, im no defending him... but
walcott laziness is not wengers fault (maybe a bit because is awefull motivating, but even simeone could get out the ice in
walcott hearth).
100 % look
at walcott he just bang two goals with everton, wenger humilate this club against man utd 8 - 2 how anyone can forget that barchalona, chelsea, bayern, liverpool, man city.
there is little doubt we need another quality attacking option with
at least a dozen goals in them... those on the to golist are obvious along with ryo though i do nt think wenger will offload sanogo yet but he should ditch
walcott....
wenger is a legend in his own mind so other peoples opinions... fans, ex players, journalists, etc... have no bearing on his greatness or the righteousness of his own decisions... from end of last season it was clear we needed two quality attacking options to put up a serious challenge (getting rid of
walcott and campbell or ox and bringing in a serious upgrade over giroud) instead he brought in another midfield option (having done the same in the winter window) which only makes sense in his own delusional world rather than the reality of facing up to serious and strengthening competitors and which defines the job
at hand....
it could be a bigger than we anticipated summer in terms of players in and out wenger will look to recoup as much as he can for out goings getting any unwanted high earners of the books might be an options like poldolski his # 100,000 p / w his unwarranted for what he brings to the team, as might be
walcott he is
at a crossroads now in his arsenal career he can either stick it out with us and show us the respect the club deserves for paying and making him the player he is today.
walcott, giroud: pls note: when 1:1 on with keeper, costa did a side - step and did nt shoot straight
at the keeper.
klopp has made some progress with a pretty mediocre squad but with no midweek football he will concentrate on the league... another reason we will need to bring in 4 or 5 players next season... the whippet, ox or campbell, mert and gibbs need to go along with the retirees... ramsey too in my books but ai nt going to happen... but will the frog look
at the 350 grand a week spent on giroud
walcott and welbeck, match it to one of our worst goal scoring seasons and think... hmm something does nt add up... i sadly doubt it
If
at some point we finally see
walcott, sanchez, welbeck and ozil
at 10, (ramsey also behind them) and this cant be made to work then wengers done.
what i cant bear to see is the insouciant
walcott as he just trots around, with the mandatory 2 - 3 offsides per game, and the 2 shots straight
at goalie.
