Good choice but I'll warn ya, I went with a neutral
wall color in my bedroom and months later I knew I would have to change it, it is
too boring for me.
The room was suffering from a case of
too much wood furniture (all in the same tone), a lack of
color on the
walls that prevented you from even noticing the trim, and outdated lighting.
Maybe I love
color a little

You're brave to go with navy
walls (I would be
too afraid to try it) but I love the contrast and from what I can see, it's a perfect
color to really make those fab Anthro drapes pop.

With the ceiling and
walls painted in the same shade of Benjamin Moore Simply White (it's a nice warmer white), the planks could wrap the the character around the room without the distraction of
too many obvious or contrasting design or paint
color changes.
Then, she would only have to accessorize the upper part of the
wall and the fresh, white
color of the wainscoting behind the rich, wood tone of the sideboard would really create a nice visual
too.
