presentation of The Lovers by Marina Abramović, a body of work she created after walking the Great
Wall of China in 1988; Embajada Rusa, a new sculpture by Los Carpinteros constructed from LEGO ® bricks, playfully reimagining the architecture of the Russian Embassy in Cuba; a group of new paintings by Hugo McCloud; and The Time Vivarium, a stop - animation film by Sun Xun, created for his debut exhibition at the
gallery in 2015.

walls of the large central room of the
gallery, subtly sequenced and grouped so that one composition may follow the previous image.

gallery walls, the show presents several bodies of work made throughout the past five years that highlight Stuckey's preoccupations with creating an entirely new pictorial language.

Moving away from the traditional white
walls of an art
gallery, the
presentation challenges expectations and highlights the power of display.
In April, French - Swiss artist Amélie Ducommun's paintings from her Sensitive Water Mapping series will be shown in a solo
presentation at
Wall Gallery in...
When visitors enter the art
gallery, there will be an introductory film and throughout the exhibition space the art works will be identified with extended
wall text and two multimedia
presentations will provide further information.
Art Berlin Contemporary (abc) eschewed the curated booths common to most art fairs — instead,
presentations by 111
galleries spread across three halls without any
walls to contain them.
So as not to interfere with the
presentation of the art objects, the interior design of the
gallery — the floor,
walls, and ceiling — is muted in terms of expression and assertion.
In his first
presentation since re-joining the
gallery earlier this year, he will show a historical range of work including a major stone floor piece, a text piece and a monumental mud
wall work.
Highlights of special projects included a recreation of Gordon Matta - Clark's Garbage

Gallery, and Hotspot, a collaborative
presentation by Bogotá's CARNE and San Juan's Km 0.2.
Augmented for the first time by works on loan in a wise attempt to add more dimension to their
presentations, Colen's exhibition follows the circular narrative of the architecture with a site - specific installation featuring Kool - Aid Man, Roger Rabbit, Wile E. Coyote and a life - size replica of himself perforating the
walls of the
gallery in true cartoon fashion only to collapse at the very end.
Even the grey colour of the
gallery walls is part of the artist's specifications for the
presentation of the nine canvases.
With its program the Alkatraz
Gallery does point to the creativity behind the
walls of the City, however, it is no longer, like it was at the beginning (in the second half of the 90's), intended primarily for
presentations of the Metelkova City artists, as it has, gradually evolved into a competent contemporary international venue.
