The design intelligence
so noticeable
in The Layar creates an unprecedented sense of privacy for all three king - sized
bedrooms, which lie off the main living area behind statement

The smaller single

in oak wardrobes with a 3ft

I am working on freshening up the upstairs
bedroom in my 1950s bungalow and the windows are
so close to the
wall that I can not use a rod with any kind of decorative finial.
We used to have a TV on that
wall, but when we did our kitchen and family room floors, we moved the big TV upstairs to the «media room» (it sounds
so fancy when I say that, but really it is just a big

There are windows
in the door and on two
walls, as well as
in the
bedroom at the end of the hall,
so while it isn't the brightest space there is natural light to bounce off the white
walls.
We actually like the look of it
so much, we're considering doing something similar on the headboard
wall in our master
bedroom.
Not to mention the fact that the
wall goes right into the bathroom,
so whatever we painted our
bedroom would be
in there, too (which is one of the reasons I've gotten hung up on this for
so long!).
The dark gray
walls look
so pretty with all the natural light, I love all the fun bright colors
in the
bedroom.
I think that was the best decision for my awkward spaces (a 72 ″ niche off the master
bedroom and the awkward and too large angled
wall vanity
in the guest bath)-- they both look
so airy and open — and I think that's an excellent idea for your mint / pink bathroom too.

An old doorway has been blocked
in using weathered wood pallets and creates a corner space for the dining table and chairs.A white - painted dresser has been positioned
in a small lobby area that leads out onto the garden and is filled with the owner's collection of blue and white china together with shells and driftwood that have been collected from the beach.
In the master
bedroom,
walls, floor and furniture have been painted
in pure brilliant white to give the space a light and airy feel, with a mix of blue and white striped accessories, patchwork, florals and chambray adding to the coastal theme.The bed has been positioned
so that the fabulous view can be enjoyed, while sun streams through the balcony doors and keeps the space warm all year round.
So the couple took down the
wall between the two front rooms and built a new kitchen
in the former
bedroom space.

wall but Lola had been begging for me to hang the hoop I made for her
bedroom at our last house and there wasn't a good spot anywhere else
in the house and even though this wasn't an idea spot either it really was the only possible spot it could go
so I ended up putting it here.
The previous owner said there was no

in, but they needed the room as another

so they put up the

We did some laundry yesterday, and we still have to secure of couple of bookcases to the

bedroom, but we were told long ago that this visit isn't about how clean your house is,
so we're not going to stress about all the chores that still aren't done.
