I've tried a number of the litters made from wheat and corn, but I've finally settled on Blue Buffalo's litter made from
walnut shells because the shells are a natural by - product of food, giving it a greener footprint than corn or wheat raised to become litter.

shells are much harder than English
walnuts and you have to use a sledgehammer to crack them, which of course then smashes your nut.
