Because of their unique metal texture, you'll
want to apply them with your
fingers or with a synthetic flat shader
brush (like the MAC 242).
If you
want it be brighter and stronger for a more glamorous look, apply with your
fingers and then blend the edges with a
brush.
If you
want you can use your
fingers or a foundation
brush as well.
Hold your pup's hair up and away from the skin (your
fingers should be right below where you
want to start
brushing).
Remember to talk calmly to your dog while
brushing his teeth, as not to make him anxious or stressed about the whole operation (you don't
want to lose a
finger, do you?).
If your dog is not used to getting its teeth
brushed at all, you might
want to start with a
finger brush or just your
finger, with a little baby food on it.
Brush the outside tooth surfaces only (if you
want to keep your
fingers, that is) as dogs don't build up much tartar on the inside surfaces of their teeth.
Eventually, you will
want to introduce a small, angled
brush or a rubber
finger brush as well.
You may
want to start
brushing with your
finger and then move up to a toothbrush once they are used to that.
