I added it all up (because I'm doing MyFitnessPal and
wanted to log it properly) and each serving has 2,082 mg of
sodium per serving (suggested amount per day is 2500 mg or
less)... and I used low
sodium taco mix!
1 head purple (or regular) cauliflower 2 slices turkey bacon (look for uncured turkey bacon with the least
sodium and at least 12g of protein per 2 slices) 1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 T walnut (or olive) oil 1/2 cup almond milk (more or
less depending on how thick you
want it)
Given that you don't
want too much
sodium in your diet, it follows that low carb vegan probably ends up as a
less healthy diet in general than a whole foods vegan diet.
