maple doesn't make it sweet enough but for every extra Tbsp syrup add an extra tsp coconut flour.
Notes: If you
want to make this
more of a treat, add two tablespoons honey or keto
maple syrup, vanilla, and cacao nibs or dark chocolate chips.
But wait, we need to add the honey (or agave syrup, or
maple syrup), stir well once
more, transfer the vegan blueberry oatmeal into bowls (or a bowl — as in: singular — because if I were you, I'd not
want to share) and top it generously with extra blueberries and pecans.
For my keto recipes I like to use Swerve sweetener and Truvia has a brown sugar option as well If you
want a
more natural substitute you could always try molasses or
maple syrup, but they aren't keto - friendly.
They are very adaptable: add
more maple syrup if you
want them sweeter, swap dates for the raisins, switch the walnuts with almonds, or try subbing some spelt for the whole wheat flour.
