I have
wanted white trim since we moved in 2 years ago and he was never onboard with it.
I want white trim and I do NOT want to have to paint it all white myself!

trim around the outside of my window to frame the space, and
want to do one accent wall in black and
white floral wallpaper.

trim and walls, and probably the ceilings as well so not sure if you feel like you
want to use the same color on the walls as your
trim but if you don't you'll just need to find a
white for the walls that compliments your

want something a little darker (closer to a wet cement color) then Sherwin Williams Gray Matters is really nice especially when contrasted with crisp
white trim or
white ceilings.
Anyways, for the bedroom, I'm
wanting to stay away from purple — my colors will be
white trim (and if we can get this old house's floor level enough, laminate wood flooring — probably in a mid-tone brown / gray); I think I'm going to accent with sea glass colors (blue and green and silver and glass) and water hyacinth bins from the container store for open dresser storage.
