birthing center where I had my baby offers it... My midwife was actually excited that I
wanted to do water labor but no water birth... I was the only one of her patients who DID N'T intend to birth
in the water and she needed people
birthing out of the tub for a control group
in a waterbirth infection study she was contributing to.
There are so many choices for women who
want a «natural» birth, there are
birthing centers attached to hospitals and etc, why would you take even the small chance that you are too far from the help you need
in an emergency situation?
For women with low - risk pregnancies who
want something
in between the hospital and home,
birthing centers are another option.
If mothers
want to use a
birthing center as a delivery option it is best to be evaluated by a doctor before making any decision, because high - risk pregnancies do not qualify for this type of
center because they do not have the equipment or trained staff if the mother needs to get
in the operating room.
Many families
want the advice and natural birth expertise that Midwives have to offer, and
want to take advantage of a wealth of information about herbal, homeopathic and essential oil remedies, but would feel safer
birthing in a hospital or birth
center setting, or perhaps have a physical condition that does not allow for home birth.

want in all settings - the hospital,

If you like the sound of a home birth but do not feel entirely comfortable with the idea of giving birth
