and although it works just fine as a piece of late - summer entertainment, for a movie called «
War Dogs,» it's all bark
and no bite.
Landing somewhere between
Wolf of
War Street
and War Dogs, American Made is a film that certainly could have dug for a deeper message, but delivers plenty of fun while it romps in the shallow end.
My first experience with German Shepherds was as a young girl, seeing a motion picture about a
war dog, «My Pal
Wolf»
and later for Christmas receiving a book, «Cop Chief of Police
Dogs» by the late Reginald Cleveland.
