like that, although for a moment I thought Dr Vicki Pope from the Met Office was running a version of her old little graph of global
temps, which is aired every now & then, curiously stopped in 2007, demonstrating beyond a doubt the
warming going on as usual, just before the 2008
temp step drop & further cooling in 09, so that the trend stayed positive!
Can you please advise where we could get a
warmer climate model or map or better yet how do we adjust our

«Glaciers in higher colder mountainous regions will be slower to melt even as
temps rise, the lower tundra areas will respond more quickly to such changes and this is shown by the quicker responses in tree line to the lesser
warming periods
like the MWP at ground level further north from him, and not just fossil remains but old farming settlements uncovered, and so on.»
The discussion I had recently about this had been irritating, so many examples in my research which showed the faked Hockey Stick cause was alive and well and now not just eliminating the
warmer periods
like the MWP and Roman, but taking it even further back and ludicrously even positing that
temps now were rising higher than at any time in the Holocene, but the 6/7, 000 year had been a first step to this, eliminating the Holocene Maximum by clever sleights of hand and word play.

4) the end results on the bottom of the first table (on maximum temperatures), clearly showed a drop in the speed of
warming that started around 38 years ago, and continued to drop every other period I looked / /... 5) I did a linear fit, on those 4 results for the drop in the speed of global maximum
temps, versus time, ended up with y = 0.0018 x -0.0314, with r2 = 0.96 At that stage I was sure to know that I had hooked a fish: I was at least 95 % sure (max) temperatures were falling 6) On same maxima data, a polynomial fit, of 2nd order, i.e. parabolic, gave me y = -0.000049 × 2 + 0.004267 x — 0.056745 r2 = 0.995 That is very high, showing a natural relationship,
like the trajectory of somebody throwing a ball... 7) projection on the above parabolic fit backward, (10 years?)
I'd
like to state at the outset that that I consider myself a luke
warmer, have am convinced that the Hockey Stick has basically been proven to be an outright fraud, that Climategate shows much of current climate science to lack any credibility, and acknowledge that there does appear to have been a lot of tampering with surface
temp record, always aimed at getting the same (
warming) result.

In a crude sense, to the extent that GCMs either replicate an AMO -
like phenomenon, or produce large but nonperiodic fluctuations in sea - surface
temps (AMO -
like in size but not periodicity), then implicitly, the alternative hypothes in those studies (a world without global
warming) has a lot more variation in it than this study does.
Scientists have been unusually forthright in linking the sweltering
temps to climate change, as prominent climatologists have come forward and said things

like.»
