about global
warming science; none of them have proved skeptic climate scientists were instructed to mimic tobacco industry tactics; journalists have demonstrably not offered overall fair balance in to skeptic climate scientists; the «wedge» being driven is one arguably pounded by enviro -
activists who push the «skeptics don't deserve fair media balance» talking point; and Gelbspan was not the first one to bring up this talking point.
As ever, the fatal problem with enviro -
activists» enslavement to the «reposition global

Dig deep enough in the «crooked skeptics» accusation, and you ultimately discover that in regard to the notion
about skeptics being in a pay - for - performance arrangement with anybody in the fossil fuel industry, there's only one usable weapon in the enviro -
activists» arsenal to indict those skeptics as industry - paid shills: the supposedly leaked industry memo set from a public relations campaign called the «Information Council for the Environment» (ICE) supposedly containing the «reposition global
warming» strategy goal, which targeted «older, less - educated males» and «younger, lower - income women.»

One of the unfortunate side effects of which was that (and this is not necessarily your field's fault in the direct sense) every two - bit environmental
activist, campaigner, and pressure group took it as license to fully politicize the science with naive and exaggerated claims
about the «effects» of global
warming (apparently it's responsible for everything), or where the «tipping point» was (30 years, no 20 years, no 10 years, etc.) or how quickly we could «de-carbonize» our economy (50 % reduction in 40 years, no 70 % in 30 years, no 90 % in 15 years).

warming activists are, I've been to the south pole 3 times and even there, where the water vapor is under 0.2 mm precipitable, it's still the H2O that is the main concern in our field and nobody even talks
about CO2 because CO2 doesn't absorb or radiate in the portion of the spectrum corresponding with earth's surface temps of 220 to 320 K. Not at all.
CEI's Sam Kazman, the ad co-creator, said that «Global
warming activists warn us

warming, the question should be asked if a particular clique of enviro -

Make no mistake
about it, the mantra repeated by enviro -
activists everywhere is that there is no doubt
about the certainty of catastrophic man - caused global
warming, and nobody should bother to listen to skeptic climate scientists because what few skeptics there are were paid industry money to lie, just the same way «shill experts» lied on behalf of «big tobacco» years ago.
So, once again, it is ever more obvious that the collective lot of enviro -
activists have only one source for their unsupportable accusation
about a fossil fuel industry denial mating, the worthless set of «reposition global
warming» memos, and the one guy responsible for gaining media traction for them, Ross Gelbspan.
The ultimate psychological projection here might be that when enviro -
activists say the fossil fuel industry engaged in racketeering when it conspired with skeptics to misinform the public

warming, this is instead a giant arrow pointing to enviro -
activists doing all the racketeering on misinforming the public

warming exist within the scientific community (p. 560); [3] that so - called «
