In an effort to coax me and my cozy high socks out of bed on cooler April mornings I've been filling my mind and appetite with
warming breakfast bowls and spicy chai.
Yesterday I had
a warm breakfast bowl with a combination of steel cut oats and Bob's Red Mill gluten free hot cereal mix (it has corn meal, whole grain brown rice, white sorghum, and buckwheat).
My favourite ways to enjoy healthy carrot fritters are as part of
a warm breakfast bowl with poached eggs on top, or thrown into a mixed salad (I recommend a dollop of hummus, too).
