The intro
contained two blatant misrepresentations — one about the origin of the
theory of global

Far and above all the other so - called evidence used in attempts to show that a sinister industry plot exists is what I term the core evidence: the set of leaked memos from way back in 1991 — supposedly from the Western Fuels Association's «Information Council for the Environment» (ICE) public relations campaign —
containing the alleged strategy to «reposition global
warming as
theory rather than fact» where the targeted audience was «older, less educated males» and «younger, lower income women.»
One truly has to wonder what alternate reality Phil Shabecoff lives in, regarding his «crimes against humanity» comment at Gelbspan's post, which happens to be an insider's reference to Gelbspan's 2004 Boiling Point book chapter 3 title, «Criminals Against humanity,» which
contains on page 51 Gelbspan's favorite phrase bit of so - called smoking gun evidence, the leaked memo phrase «reposition global
warming as
theory rather than fact.»

containing the awkward «strategy» phrase «reposition global
warming as
theory rather than fact,» which proved skeptic climate scientists were on the payroll of «Big Coal & Oil.»
First, the setup for Ron's article: Back late 2009, in my efforts to figure out where the infamous «reposition global
warming as
theory rather than fact» phrase came from — the line spelled out in Al Gore's movie and in Ross Gelbspan's book «The Heat is On», which they portray as a sinister top - down industry directive that skeptic climate scientists are paid to follow — I ran across Naomi Oreskes» widely repeated Powerpoint presentation from 2008 where she said the leaked memo set
containing that phrase was in the archives of the American Meteorological Society (AMS).
I forget when I first ran across Oreskes» name, but it was most likely during my initial late 2009 attempts to find any sort of full context versions of the Western Fuels «leaked» memos
containing the «reposition global
warming as
theory rather than fact» phrase that Gelbspan and Al Gore love so dearly.
