«There is a certain ironic satisfaction in
seeing a study funded by the Koch Brothers — the greatest funders of climate change denial and disinformation on the planet — demonstrate what scientists
have known with some degree of confidence for nearly two decades: that the globe is indeed
warming, and that this
warming can
only be explained by human - caused increases in greenhouse gas concentrations,» he wrote.

The consequences of climate change are being felt not
only in the environment, but in the entire socio - economic system and, as
seen in the findings of numerous reports already available, they will impact first and foremost the poorest and weakest who, even if they are among the least responsible for global
warming, are the most vulnerable because they
have limited resources or live in areas at greater risk... Many of the most vulnerable societies, already facing energy problems, rely upon agriculture, the very sector most likely to suffer from climatic shifts.»

leave cap off make sure fill with antifreeze and start car allow it to
warm up and watch u should be able to
see the water flow this will allow the air to come out per air pockets are a big cause... now buy a new radiator cap per this also small but cause a big prob... also while watching the water flow flow if bubbles stay present it could be head gasket this pushes combustion gas thru and can cause antifreeze to dicipate hence why u keep
having to put more unless yur pump leaking or hose this the
only other way u will get low on anti freeze... hope this helps it took me a while to figure out so i did nt
have to spend lots of cash on a mech that wouldnt probably now this either top secrets lol... they wont tell u its all biz... hope this helps

The
only way one
would not
see a late 20th century
warming from these data sets is if you
had the graph upside down.
To
see why, note that ocean dynamics changes
only move energy around — to
warm somewhere, they
have to cool somewhere else.
Gavin disputes that the main driver of the sea ice retreat is the albedo flip, but we are
seeing not
only polar amplification of global
warming but positive feedback, which
would not be explained simply by radiative forces and ocean currents.
The conclusion that CO2
would warm the stratosphere in the absence of O3 needs to be looked at carefully to
see what the actual assumptions are (is CO2 the
only strat absorber?
That
would only tell us that in principle, natural causes can cause
warming larger than what we
've seen in the past decades.
Various studies
have used more precisely defined frameworks along these lines (
see Fig. 6.14 of IPCC AR4 for example) and (subject to assumptions and uncertainties as always) found that «recovery from the LIA»
would have made
only a small contribution to the observed
warming.
So even if the MWP were as
warm as today, that
would only strengthen and support the fact that we are in the midst of global
warming; and throw in the
warmings of 55 & 251 mya, and we can
see that it can get much higher than even today.
The
only argument I
've seen along those lines is the one that claims that the vast majority of the CO2 humans are emitting is sequestered in soils, oceans, etc, or used by plants, but that «naturally»
warmer temps result in the release of sequestered CO2.
Keep in mind that the IEA's «450 Scenario» is intended to limit
warming to 2 °C — even though we can plainly
see that the
warming that
has already occurred is sufficient to cause far worse effects than scientists imagined possible
only a few years ago, and we
have every reason to believe that 2 °C will be truly catastrophic.
Given the total irrelevance of volcanic aerosols during the period in question, the
only very modest effect of fossil fuel emissions and the many inconsistencies governing the data pertaining to solar irradiance, it seems clear that climate science
has no meaningful explanation for the considerable
warming trend we
see in the earlier part of the 20th century — and if that's the case, then there is no reason to assume that the
warming we
see in the latter part of that century could not also be due to either some as yet unknown natural force, or perhaps simply random drift.
I
would argue that if we use a simple radiative model with a variety of assumptions, no upper atmosphere cooling but
only warming will occur with increased CO2 (
see # 333), based on the radiative transfer equations and the Second Law of thermodynamics, but when other complexities are introduced, this might change.
But that
would have presumed that Schieffer differed from Candy Crowley, the previous moderator, who revealed, after the fact, that she
saw global
warming as a second - tier issue germane
only to «all you climate change people.»
Given the arrogance I
have seen over the years coming from Universities, and which I am afraid I
see regularly on this blog
only tends to confirm the mild, but increasing scepticism I
have developed towards Climate Change — aka global
warming.
The main area of Antarctica is cooling,
only the tiny peninsula
has shown any
warming, of course that is the
only part of that continent you will ever
see on the news or referred to here at the NYT because that is the
only area that at times loses ice.
The deep, northward - driving synoptic pattern associated with both powerful high Latitude storms and
warm winds is
only something we
've begun to
see during recent years.
At the inception of the Al Gore era of the global
warming issue, Stephen Schneider and the Society of Environmental Journalists spotted the very thing that could stop the issue in its tracks — if the public
only saw scientists contradicting each other over whether man - caused global
warming was a problem, the issue
would never advance as a problem in need of a solution.
That is because the
only effectiveness in pushing the global
warming hoax
has been through analogy — greenhouse, polar bears, rising
sees, calving glaciers...
The
only downside I
see here is if the deniers claim that your Pratt Effect deep earthquakes could
have caused the
warming from 1970 to 2000.
The comment «No one knows whether it is currently
warming, because we
only see warming «in the rearview mirror»... after it
has occurred.»
So the «reality test» tells us that a 3 % CAGR for GDP until 2100 is probably on the high side, but even if it did occur, we
would only see around 1.0 °C
warming by 2100.
This
warming can not
have been caused by the sun, you
see, because as numerous «consensus» scientists
have noted, solar activity was not going up over this period, but
only persisted at a high level (whether extraordinarily high, as Usoskin estimates, or merely high, as Muscheler estimates).
«Not
only is it extreme in any number of measures — air temperature, loss of sea ice and on and on — but there are so many things we haven't
seen, particularly this extremely
warm fall,» said study co-author Brendan Kelly, executive director of the Study of Environmental Arctic Change at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
Direct CO2 radiative «greehouse»
warming is surely a detectable signal, but
only a small fraction of the total
warming we
've seen.
One of Hertsgaard's many repeats of Gelbspan's favorite phrase was
seen within his 2006 Vanity Fair article, but as I speculated in my September 18, 2014 blog post, I
only thought it was poor wording on Hertsgaard's part that led to a widespread and completely inaccurate notion that it was the Global Climate Coalition that
had the «reposition global
warming» phrase as its «sinister» strategy goal.
To date I
have not
seen a financially sane basis to «mitigate» global
warming,
only to «adapt».
This illustration, using figures from the most recent 2014 IPCC report, depicts that because
only 800 gigatons of CO2 can be emitted by humanity before creating a 66 % probability that a 2 degree C
warming limit will be exceeded and humans
have by 2011 already emitted 530 gigatons of CO2, there are
only 270 gigatons of CO2 that may be emitted after 2011 to limit
warming to 2 degrees C. (For a more detailed explanation of these figures
see, Pidcock 2013)
The «unnatural»
warming so far
seen is however trended strongly to the alterations to the planetary surface by Humanity over the past 400 years and the rebalance towards greater kinetic induction (in its cumulative effect) is now producing observable alterations not
only to the Land Surface median Temperature, but to the Ocean (vie conduction / convection) and a still unconfirmed claim of a small overall rise in Median Atmospheric Temperature, which if «true»
would place the Planetary Biosphere on the «Human Population Plot» with regard to «
warming».
Steven, that
would only be fair since warmists already
have had their fun
seeing skeptics squirm and disown thee efforts of Judy's own BEST team to produce a land surface record that incorporates many more stations, and implements better algorithms, in order to correct alleged warmist biases in the CRU record,
only to discover that the CRU
warming trend was biased low.
With the late - summer ice edge located farther north than it used to be, storms produce larger waves and more coastal erosion.5 An additional contributing factor is that coastal bluffs that were «cemented» by ice - rich permafrost are beginning to thaw in response to
warmer air and ocean waters, and are therefore more vulnerable to erosion.22 Standard defensive adaptation strategies to protect coastal communities from erosion, such as use of rock walls, sandbags, and riprap,
have been largely unsuccessful.23 Several coastal communities are seeking to relocate to escape erosion that threatens infrastructure and services but, because of high costs and policy constraints on use of federal funds for community relocation,
only one Alaskan village
has begun to relocate (
