After this experience, I would have to say this is definitely a use and
wash diaper shell.

When it is time to
wash your Best Bottom
Diapers, you will only be
washing inserts and a few
shells - this takes up much less space!
Follow your manufacturer
washing instructions to make sure you don't use water that's too hot for the PUL material, and hang your pocket
diaper shells and
diaper covers to dry whenever possible.
If you are going to
wash every second or third day, I would recommend stocking up on 6 - 8 newborn AI2 cloth
diaper shells and at least 24 or more cloth inserts.
The soakers may also stay attached to the
diaper while in the
wash (although at times they do separate from the
shell).
Before Use:
Wash your One Size Pocket
diaper shells along with the terry portion of the insert once before use.
If you have all - in - one's (AI0's) you can not
wash the inserts separately because they are sewn directly into the
diaper shell.
Inserts are replaced at every
diaper change, while
shells are
washed when soiled, so you need 5 - 6
