I don't know from «best» and «worst» but here's a
list, in no particular order, of the ten
films of 2017 that I most enjoyed
watching, thinking about, and discussing with friends.
- Amour was very well - made and acted but because
watching the content of the
film was so excruciating for me, i can't seem to put it in a «best»
list.
It wouldn't be at the top of my
list of
films to go and see at the moment, but it's certainly an easy, enjoyable
film to
watch.

Of all of the
films I've seen this year that I loved, the shorter
list is the
films I will
watch over and over again in the years to come.
Now, we've finally moved one step closer to
watching Natasha Romanoff kick ass on a solo basis, with Variety reporting that Black
List screenwriter Jac Schaeffer has been tapped to provide a script for a Black Widow standalone
film.
Like most every
film on this
list, Chan - wook Park's 2003 original Oldboy boasts many scenes that are tough to

You've sported a red equal sign on Facebook,
watched Nancy Pelosi show Michele Bachmann her politically correct middle finger, and read some of those other
lists that have compiled lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT)
films, hailing usual suspects like High Art and Brokeback Mountain as gay equivalents of Vertigo (oh, don't Citizen Kane me; we're talking regime upheaval here).
For the next several weeks, I'll be
watching a bunch of
film's hoping at least a couple of them end up ranked higher than 25th on my eventual Movies Of The Year: 2008
list.
The
films Cannes picks for its screenings and awards inevitably land on the must -
watch lists of cinephiles around the world.
I
watched just over 300
films this year, about 80 of which qualified for this
list, and these are 60 of my favorites.
Like «Schindler's
List,» another Best Picture winner, «12 Years a Slave» can be a tough
film to
