US - based fashion designer and
watch manufacturer Fossil announced that it will bring Android Wear 2.0 to its smartwatch lineup next month.

While
Fossil is the only
manufacturer to have confirmed so far, remember that Google has a great deal more control over Android in
watch form than it does other forms of Android pushed out to phones.
Apart from Casio,
Fossil and TAG Heuer are the two traditional
watch makers that recently started developing their smartwatch models to take on the offerings designed by Apple, Samsung and other smartphone
manufacturers.
It's hardly the first time tech companies have claimed smartwatches are the next big thing, but Google is working with consumer electronics
manufacturers — including Asus, HTC, LG, Motorola and Samsung — and
watch brands such as
Fossil to put Android Wear
watches in the market later this year, making this the most serious attempt yet.
In fact, Huawei seems to be one of the few
manufacturers that took
watch faces seriously, even
Fossil and TAG Heuer had 3 or 4 to offer buyers of their expensive smartwatches running Android Wear.
