I can't believe that people think Pedro is
quality, he's a normal
player, you should
watch more
of his games.
It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring
players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive
qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead
of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes
of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to
watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the
players around him and we all know who is in charge
of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer
Where once we would bemoan the lack
of clinical finishing in a sea
of countless chances we are now
watching a side bereft
of any
quality in the final third in the two aforementioned
players.
You see now my friend, its the most exciting leauge in the world.I
watch both EPL and Spanish laliga and laliga is exciting and full
of quality players
he tried to rectify the mistake
of our defence by coming out bt failed on second goal no - one would expect that 3 defenders would stand and
watch a
player of zarate
quality to take a shot... it was more
of our defence fault rather than his..
Why not sign Chicharito and put an end to this hulabaloo. The guy has
quality and I've
watched him enough to know he's not the kind
of player who'll be missing chances. His best attribute is his movement and speed. He finishes chances off like world class
players and can beat his man very well.In fact he always causes trouble and keeps opposition
players on their toes.
Even if he leaves he's given all the fans some joy to
watch, we will never get a
player of his
quality again if he does leave we'll have to settle for Barkley etc lol
What makes him better than Arnautovic? The stats?I'm not saying Arnautovic is better or not but if I was a neutral
watching them both the difference in
quality is not huge.Do you know what Arnautovic could have done if he was given the lone CF role i Arsenal?I guess I'm also the only one who thinks Chicharito is better than Giroud yet playing at West Ham.If we had Chicharito instead
of Giroud from 2012 we could have easily won the league in 15/16 season. What makes Giroud so good that if I
watch him on my TV I can't see?All I see is a
player who turns his back to goal for most parts
of the match.
I thought he was something special before he came to Watford. Before that I had never
watched him but how Wenger followed him made me think he was something special. He's just not good at all. He's just an okay player. However we have many
players with the same okay
quality in our squad. The main thing that affects is poor mentality and poor managerial skills. It's really never been about the
players even if many
of them are average.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety
of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style
of play has become a shadow
of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out
of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid
of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out
of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive
qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes
of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play
of Monreal, but none
of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio
of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I
watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part
of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part
of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature
of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out
of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front
of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that,
of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one
of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one
of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already
of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs
of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class
qualities but he's lack
of mobility is an albatross around the necks
of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because
of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
To be
watched by that sort
of club, that proves that you are a
quality player.
City have ageing
players hence why they're struggling this year but just
watch next season when United bring in a new manager and the rich clubs buy new
quality players, you will see how far behind we are to even be considered one
of the best in Europe.
Go
watch LaLiga league and you will notice that
quality of players isn't as evenly spread out compared to England, you have top 2 or 3 established names and the rest are average.
Are you really naive enough to believe that Wenger would bring anyone into this current locker room that is going to be given a strong voice... have you not been
watching, listening or reading about our club for years... Lehman is a blind Wenger follower, which is the only reason he was even considered... just for a second think
of all the strong personalities that have played for this club that have never been seriously considered even though they have expressed legitimate interest in participating in the coaching process... even worse, think
of all the former greats who aren't even allowed on the same pitch as Wenger because they have offered their advice and / or criticism to the infallible one... I dare you to find a manager that has distanced himself from his former
players as much as this man... it's the very reason why only one
player I can think
of has ever returned to play for Wenger and that was Flamini, which was hilarious considering we were desperately looking for a top
quality defensive midfielder but Wenger could somehow find no one better than Flamini in the whole wide world... let's face it this club was simply trying to appease it's disgruntled fans by declaring that Wenger would no longer be given Ca rte Blanche when it came to the backroom staff so they probably asked him to give them a list
of those who he would allow in the locker room... on that list he wrote Lehman, Pires and Bergkamp, likely because the first two are the only former
players who haven't publicly questioned his horrible decision - making and the last one because he won't get in an airplane
Well im not in a wonderland he has his failings as we all do and great teams find a way to win good teams sit where we are 6 -5-4 but thats besides the point and it would be nice if your aunty had bolocks cause then we d be second but ive
watched the games were an offensive team most the time although were terrible in the pissing rain but for the most part the game plans have worked weve created chances
quality scoring chances one after the other problem is for me the finishing unless we sit back with 9 man behind the ball or ten when you push forward you will give up a goal if you lousy forwards fail to finish the set ups have been there this year but our strikers have failed to kill the games if we create
quality chances and grab leads in the first 60 minutes like we have for the most part and in those games those games should
of been killed even if we give a goal or two alongside the strategy but we failed to hit multiple should be goals we tried laca we'll see abou auba although hes a bit lazy so far but we'll see but we've lacked that
quality in front goal a
player the chances have been there im looking at the failure
of the strikers and maybe that is his fault but monreal has scored as many goals recently as our strikers and thats sad our defenders or a midfielder will score and our stikers cant tally one in th first 60 mins
of a game alongside them then were tired for last 40 give them hope there still only down one and we rue our missed chances while they push thats where iv been frustrated with this season not the tactics but the finishing
Wilshere needs another manager to improve... I have a lot
of time for him but he stands around too much waiting for ball whereas before he used to hunt for the ball... but whatever happens we are 6
players short
of a
quality team... years
of penny pinching and over indulging crap
players by a clueless manager who is a legend in his own mind... people go on about guardiolas spending in the summer but the team we are now
watching play the best football in epl history only has 2 new additions from last year Emerson and walker... I guess mendy would start if fit... we have 2 new
players too but we are further behind than ever!!
How I wish Arsenal had not sold Wellington Silva. The guy is a
quality player and would've been a good option from the bench.I just don't get why he was sold. His stats may not have been impressive but if you
watch him he's really good. The teams he was loaned out to earlier hardly used him and I felt he had a future here.He just needed to step up his game to be world class. He never lost any
of his dribbling and skills. He'd have been the best at that if he was in Arsenal. He deserved his chance and is even better than Joel Campbell who had many chances to prove himself.
I like
watching Ozil and Alexis, I doubt they would stay if we wasn't in the CL for a couple seasons, I would like to see
players of that
quality added but I think it would be harder if we wasn't in the top competition.
No more totally killing it every rare chance we actually put you on the field but otherwise sitting around for the bulk
of the rest
of our matches
watching Welbeck and Theo flub chances, not quite having the
quality last touch to create a decent chance, and / or very rarely making any type
of decent / threatening cross to other
players all the while thinking «hey coach, you know I'm on the team also!
The
quality of football, types

Gary Neville - another member
of the pyrite generation - has praised Jack Wilshere and Tom Cleverley as examples
of «more intelligent»
players that he believes presage another generation, one inspired by

quality of technical
player... Cantona, Zola, Ronaldo.»
Quality is not all about goals or stats you know.If it was a lot of Arsenal players would have been sold and many players would not even be regarded.People need to look at the bigger picture. He scored 16 goals last two season as the starting CF.You and I know that based on the chances he gets he should've been doing better. The guy is not even a clinical player from what we watch yet people will always deny that fact. The only case people make up for Giroud is his goals. They can't even talk about his quality on the ball and others because it's non existent. He was part of the reason why Arsenal couldn't win the trophy in 15/16 season. It's a shame we are compromising and refuse to state things the way they are.Even if Giroud scores 40 goals in the EPL qualoty wise he's still a

I'm all for giving young
players a chance. He has had plenty
of opportunities and you answered your own question as to what position he is actually any good at.There is none.He is NOT the
quality required and anyone who believes otherwise can go
watch Iwobi at Orient as that's the level he will be playing at in a few seasons
no idea what games you have been
watching but the idea
of ramsey as a defensive enforcer is comical... missed tackles galore, slow in to tackles and weak first touch define his game... though to be fair only wenger thinks he is a renasiance footballer qble to play any position... the ramsey bandwagon was for some time based on the barca cant have him ay any price delusion... the man should be part
of the summer sale crop along with mert walcott and gibbs... its fifty fifty on campbell and giroud... both are decent squad
players but the need for
quality attacking options is palpable
Indeed it's going to be a long season, Wenger is unable to instil belief in his
players this won't change, after
watching Pep's Man City I can say it without hesitation they are miles ahead
of Arsenal in
quality
I said I hope Coquelin has a good game against City and shoves your negative comments up your Arse he did that and not me but 99 percent said
of arsenal fans agreed as for
watching football to be an expert no wonder you can't see a good
player Ya have to play the game to have any idea
of quality if I'm a sensationalist then great I had faith in him, and what's wrong with playing for Charlton to get experience Ya don't get it sitting on the bench again you know shit about how clubs use there
players Enough
of this back an forth crap I will wait till the end
of season to see who was right about him CB
That true wenger should win the cup and live arsenal for good or change his kind
of person and bring in
quality players into the club, I was so weak when
watching the match, When i compare the current
players to the time
of febregas Song and nasri also ven i no that arsenal are going back word in the premier league...
I know this because I have
watched some
of their games during their participation in Europe and I can say they are playing very well and they have very good with
players of high
quality.
«He is just fantastic the way he touches the ball, he is wonderful to

player... He is such a
quality player than he always delights lovers
of good football when we see him play...»
Personally, I am going to sit back,
watch the preseason games, enjoy the silliness on the blogs, TV and radio and await the first
of September with anticipation, knowing that the boss is more likely, than probably any other premiership manager to surprise us all with
quality players — in his own good time!
If you really love football and
watching players of such
quality, we should let him go.
I wonder if Veloso has actually been
watched over a period
of time (i «ll admit i «ve only seen him play a few times) by people calling for his purchase. Now i «m not saying he is n`t a good
player or whatever but sometimes you just get the impression that this names get bandied about (usually by the press 1st) and everybody else just falls into the trap
of singing the praises
of these
players, without actually knowing their
quality.
