As I was
watching (or shall I say fast forwarding) through the past bachelor episode that I never want to talk about
again, a
commercial popped up for the McDonalds Shamrock Shake.
It's that time of year
again where we all look forward to
watching (and judging) million dollar
commercials and being blown away by a halftime performance.
They emerged from the 1970s with classic films to their names, works that defined and altered the ways movies were made and
watched; they remained figgureheads of the American industry for four decades, delivering critical and / or
commercial hits
again and
again.
I can see this being annoying to those who are
watching TV shows, and every 20 minutes or so a new episode begins, but not before the
commercial runs
again.
