I first watched Arsenal in 1976 and have been following home and away ever since NOT 2006, I also don't use twitter and don't play fifa, for the record I really am bored with the insinuation that if you criticise an Arsenal player, the owner or wenger then you don't support Arsenal, are happy with everything that's been going on since say the move to the grove?do you not ever think things should be done differently?did you never criticise a player?if you say no then I don't believe you.I make no hesitation in saying I'm very much on the side of the wenger out brigade, but never would I come on here and write what you've just done, for a start in might upset my seventy year old dad who is very much a AKB.I think you're just a keyboard warrior some how.Regardless though credit where credits due good performance today, and yes I did go

I would like to tell arsenal fan that the transfer window is not arsenal's problem.Let explain what is in my mind.We need to reinforce our team but we need to think in the future that most of the high class players are going to refuse signing for arsenal fc because of Mr Wenger's philosophy. It looks like arsenal becomes cemetery of players. How many players came in and left because of performance, became good players out of arsenal. We need to accept all of the transformation Mr wenger brings in arsenal but now it does not work. Why??? because lack of tactics, strategies and pretending best players for Mr wenger mind but in reality those players do not get standard of best player.Mr wenger wants to prove everybody that he is wright that players who are calling by wenger are best.I means Mr wenger is the only one can see all matter in good position or bad.He is wrong by thinking this way.He does not like criticism.he is the mind of arsenal.Everything he can say or defend is wright.Think about morrinho comments about arsenal!!!! Why he likes to be arsenal coach!!!! One thing I want to say about arsenal players, I think everybody watch arsenal games. We have got short mind players who play two good games and the rest shameless. They are working hard in the training ground for catching Mr wenger's mind to let them play; what is behind their (players) mind to be the most regular players. Those players have no vision even ambition; they are never becoming high class and their carriers are going to finish in arsenal after arsenal we are going to see them playing for championship. They do not care to become legend as Ian wright, Vierra, Berckam, piress, Henry... What is the big behind their mind to use wenger name to be selected in national team. They are not able to face different leagues in the world.

See how poor nacho monreal was today yet people never criticize him.Gibbs should start over him next week.Yet people would say things like Gibbs is shit despite him being very consistent for arsenal. The only problem to me with Gibbs is that sometimes in some matches he gets caught out too much apart from that he is a better left back than Monreal and when both are at full pelt Gibbs is still better.I just do nt get it i watch the two of them play and i do nt know what makes Monreal better than him.

This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Aubayamang will surely get at least a goal today... With Wilshere playing, transition from midfield to attack will be sharp unlike If Ramsey is playing... Watch out for Wilshere and Aubayamang Link up
Granite Xhaka saved us last night, i'm not a great fan of Xhaka but i thought the game changed as soon as he come on, on Wilshere i have been his biggest supporter but last night he let me down badly, he made no space for himself he was just out for the fresh air, i thought Sead had a lousy game to even do he scored, it was a sad night for Arsenal supporters and football to watch that, there were plenty of alarms raised when we played Ostersunds FK in the first leg in the second half, AW should of known better to prepare his team and should get off his ass and shout a bit from the side line like all passionate managers do when they send a message to their players

And clearly, that's Villanova, the best team in the country, with the only two stars (Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges) you can really trust... although, let's face it: Duke has the most talent and is playing like it, but then again Kansas's Devonte Graham could totally get into Grayson Allen's head and beat Duke in the Elite Eight, and anyway, this does not feel like a year when the most talent or the best team wins, so watch out for Florida State and Texas A&M....
@Muda, I accept your formation but i would rather we use Coquelin at RB instead of Bellerin, the hype about Bellerin is becoming too much.Atleast for the few games I've watched him play he seems to be very inexperienced and always cut out of position, so i would prefer Coquelin as he has always done a good job each time he plays at RB.
I have watched so many Chelsea matches in which Matic was caught out of position with poor finishing by opponents saving him the blushes, while Wanyama will be a regular red card candidate if he were to play for a team like Arsenal.
We pay the most for tickets so why do we have to suffer average players, and it not just the money, why do we have no young CB that could play why wasn't bellrein at RB why do we watch each week and Sanchez out works every other player, I can forgive players who make mistakes I will not forgive lack of passion including wenger, there is a stake holder there who wants to put his money in So WENEGER OUT AND TAKE THAT YANK WITH out works every other player, I can forgive players who make mistakes I will not forgive lack of passion including wenger, there is a stake holder there who wants to put his money in So WENEGER OUT AND TAKE THAT YANK WITH OUT AND TAKE THAT YANK WITH YOU
I'd like to thank @CoachSchottyUGA @CoachJim4UM & @CoachJeddFisch for coming out to watch the team play ball!
If there's one feature of Ozil that is enviable for both the player and the watching spectators: It's him drifting inward of his opposing full back, while playing as a winger, doing a layoff for the onrushing midfielder or forward and pulling out one of his trademark through balls, which, almost always, mesmerizes the classiest of defenders.
this article typifies everything that is wrong with our club... if you had any balls you would have started with that Mertz nonsense, but instead, like Wenger, you started out pretending to be a rational individual only to reveal your true unintelligible in the final paragraph... I feel like you have never watched Mertz play except for in the FA Cup final last year... how does someone help defend corners, crosses and the like when you can't man - mark, you have a negative vertical and you close your eyes whenever the ball comes in your direction... this was a panic buy that didn't make sense then, considering how most teams were setup to counterattack us, and it makes even less sense now... he was well past his prime when he arrived, like Podolski, Arteta, Flamini 2.0 among numerous others, and was used by Wenger to trick the uninformed fans into believing he cared about turning this team into a true contender
