While
watching the Sixers string together a couple wins recently, I started to think about how the team's development over the past few seasons highlights some of the best lessons I learned about myself during my two years in ACE.
Every time we'd be watching some non-Sixer game, my wife (who mostly
watches the Sixers) would say, «My God, they just play so slow!»
1) You obviously don't
watch Sixers games.
This would be simply weird if we didn't
all watch the Sixers bungle the Ben Simmons injury situation a year ago, apparently trying to bring him back too early, causing further injury and costing him the entire season.
And I have
watched Sixers - Celtics go at it all these years.
Not exact matches
I'll
watch the playoffs and the occasional
Sixers game, but no one makes or stays in the NBA without busting their ass every single day.
There's a really good chance that Philly won't hit 20 wins again, that the
Sixers will be back in the top three for the Jahlil Okafor derby a year from now, that the
Sixers aren't a year or two from being interesting to actually
watch, but are more like three or four years away.
