watching award shows of all types.

show person)-- I can not stand seeing a sea of lit up cell phones capturing the performances instead of the people
watching them with their own eyes!
While our kidlets may not stay up late enough to
watch the whole
show (seriously, we rarely make it to the last
award since becoming parents), that doesn't mean they can't help celebrate Hollywood's most indulgent event.
I loved
watching the
show this year because I was fortunate to see a lot of the musicals nominated and loved being able to make my predictions for each
award armed with more information.

show... but from what I've seen, nothing from the SAG
awards wowed me... Kerry Washington does look gorgeous though.
It's kind of crazy that when I was younger I would
watch all of these
Award Shows + Red Carpet Moments on TV or check them out in magazines and now I get to experience them for real in person!
What I mean by that is when you
watch celebrities walking the red carpet at
award shows and their legs almost look like plastic Barbie legs.
However, for many of TV's brightest stars that I have loved
watching at past Emmy's, there were many who just weren't up to their own standards of fashion and style last night but fear not there is always next year or next
awards show to keep us all interested!
While perhaps they've all been to
awards shows and had many adoring fans (and kept me up too late
watching them on many an occasion), that's not what I'm referring to here.

watches reruns of Friends, works in an underpatronized café, freaks out her hairy stalker by coming on to him, takes photographs and molests invalids as a means of staving off millennial ennui, and causes ripples in the temporal fold, but the film is as dead as she is, so you hardly notice; Bob Byington's Infinity Baby, which may be a «science - fiction comedy» about a company providing foster parents with infants who never grow up, but is essentially the same kind of lame, unambitious, conformist indie comedy that has characterized U.S. independent cinema for way too long — static, meticulously framed shots in pretentious black and white, amoral yet supposedly lovable characters played deadpan by the usual suspects (Kieran Culkin, Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, Kevin Corrigan), reciting apparently nihilistic but essentially soft - center dialogue, jangly indie music at the end, and a pretty good, if belated, Dick Cheney joke; and Petter Lennstrand's loveably lo - fi Up in the Sky,
