watch Experimenter is to subject yourself to a form of filmic mind manipulation, in which the movie's central character, Stanley Milgram (
played by a coolly cerebral Peter Sarsgaard), looks directly into the camera, at us, and seems to measure our reactions to his unlikely life

It
plays like Baby's First Game and if you can make sense of what
story is being told, you're a better person than I. Go ahead,

Though the
story, or lack thereof, is a disappointing one for someone who has
played the first game and
watched the first season of the anime, I can't say the action of killing titans doesn't get the blood pumping every time.

watching Paul Rudd
play Paul Rudd, and while you could do a lot worse when it comes to a lead character, it doesn't leave much of an impression when it comes to a superhero origin
story.
If you follow the screenplay's every move, it's pretty clear that this is a
story about a woman's self - liberation from cold servitude, but when you sit there and
watch the domestic drama
play out, with Margaret ultimately triumphing over Walter and exposing his scam, the
story surprisingly doesn't feel empowering or energetic at all.
But these actors bring the
story to life and it's fun to
watch a cast of solid actors
play against each other.
