Research has suggested that
water births are as safe as normal
births when carried out on healthy mothers; doctors and midwives will decide if a
water birth is a safe and wise option based on the health of the mother and the positioning and health of the baby.
Doing your
research on the various types of pain relief and facilities offered by your hospital is also really important (there's no point in writing that you want a
