We have been doing some research on grey
water solutions for our
tiny house builds and found two solutions that would work well
in the Michigan climate.
Quite a few years ago, when I was deep
in my Buckminster Fuller fanboy phase (OK, so I'm still kind of
in that phase), we were living
in a
tiny house, hauling all of our own
water and using a Humanure composting toilet.
Fortunately, the couple were able to find an ideal parking spot for the
tiny house which had existing hook - ups for power,
water and sewage already
in place for RV parking.
Our plumber wisely suggested that we spend just a
tiny bit more and run a full new
water line to the
house as long as we had to dig a big trench
in the front yard, so we did!
