These lakes, that would be located deep in Europa's icy crust, could be communicating with the liquid
water ocean below, while providing it with chemical elements from the surface that would be a valuable energy source to any potential life forms.

water sports, like scuba diving with manta rays off Islas Marietas, boating around Los Arcos» reefs, and parasailing off of the popular Playa Los Muertos, but Puerto Vallarta really becomes alive when the sun dips
below the horizon; steamy salsa clubs light up the streets, and rowdy local bars supply a steady stream of cervesa for the thirsty traveler.

The more heat in the Pacific, the bigger the El Niño, and right now, 150 metres
below the surface, a ball of warm
water is crossing that
ocean.
Researchers marshaled
ocean temperature and salinity data to broadly map the deep
water's path (see map,
below left).
After further analysis of the data, the scientists found that although a strong El Niño changes wind patterns in West Antarctica in a way that promotes flow of warm
ocean waters towards the ice shelves to increase melting from
below, it also increases snowfall particularly along the Amundsen Sea sector.

waters to upwell, circulate under Totten Ice Shelf, and melt the fringes of the East Antarctic ice sheet from

Totten Glacier, the largest glacier in East Antarctica, is being melted from
below by warm
water that reaches the ice when winds over the
ocean are strong — a cause for concern because the glacier holds more than 11 feet of sea level rise and acts as a plug that helps lock in the ice of the East Antarctic Ice Sheet.
As the storm moves forward over these eddies, the warm
ocean waters below help fuel the storm's intensity through enhanced and sustained heat and moisture fluxes.
Nearly 30 percent of ice covering the Arctic
Ocean at summer's peak is thin enough to foster sprawling phytoplankton blooms in the
waters below, a recent study estimated.
Despite their hidden nature, internal waves are fundamental parts of
ocean water dynamics, transferring heat to the
ocean depths and bringing up cold
water from
below.
The captured CO2 will be liquefied on site and pumped through a two - foot - diameter pipeline that will snake south through the
waters of the Arthur Kill, turn eastward through Raritan Bay out into the Atlantic
Ocean, and arrive, about 140 miles later, at a natural repository of Lower Cretaceous sandstone more than 8,000 feet
below the seafloor.
By the time the
water reaches this area and is taken up into seafood, radioactivity is probably well diluted
below what is probably dangerous for human consumption, but marine biologist Nicholas Fisher of Stony Brook University in New York says that the study will be a useful baseline to understand how radiation is dispersed in the specific

ocean surface to condense the steam back into liquid form.
The additional observations of Europa supported the theory that an
ocean of
water currently exists
below the surface.
Many organic molecules needed for life could even have formed
below the
ocean floor from interactions between minerals and circulating hot
water driven these hydrothermal ven systems.
