Travelers never used to come here as there was nowhere to stay, so many explored
the waters on liveaboard boats.
Not exact matches
No pictures from in the
water though, as our GoPro broke during our last dive
on the
liveaboard trip with ProDive Cairns earlier that week.
Divers can choose between luxury
liveaboard boats and idyllic resorts
on small islands, many with rooms that perch directly over the
water.
To participate in
liveaboard diving
on the Sheena each diver is required to show proof of 60 logged dives and have at least an Advanced Open
Water Certification or equivalent diving experience.
On some Australian
liveaboards there will be a member of staff in the
water who acts more in a safety capacity than as a guide or leader for the dive.

waters on the south coast are the destination of a number of
liveaboards that sail in Cuban
waters.
I chose the open
water course in Cairns that started with two days in the city for the pool and classroom lessons followed by two days
on the
liveaboard.
Water temperature
on the other hand averages 18 to 25 °C (65 - 77 ° F) during the winter, 27 °C (80 °F) in spring and 24 - 33 °C (75 - 91 °F) in the summer and with so many islands and dive sites to explore, a
liveaboard is one of the most popular ways to dive the Bahamas.
Raja Ampat cruises allow you to explore the most biodiverse
waters on the planet, diving pristine, remote sites with all the comfort and ease of a
liveaboard safari.
Some Maldives
liveaboards go to the Northern Atolls, the Far North Atolls and the Southern Atolls, where you may be
on the only boat you see
on the
water during your entire trip.
I didn't do any classes with them, but out of 27 guests
on my 3 - day
liveaboard trip, 19 were doing open
water classes and one was doing his advanced open
water class.
Experience a life changing event
on the Great Barrier Reef and book a tour to swim with giant Humpback whales
on the southern reefs or snorkel with Dwarf Minke Whales from Port Douglas
on a day tour or join a
liveaboard dive trip to the Ribbon Reefs and spend some extra time in the
water with these highly inquisitive animals
This Myanmar
liveaboard trip had so many different things
on offer since it cruised in Thai
waters as well as venturing into Burma, but you would also be spoilt for choice if you only went
on a 4 night trip that stays within Thailand, enjoying dives at many more sites in the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock.

Going
on a Komodo
liveaboard is like undertaking an epic voyage — over 10 days, a typical Komodo dive route covers hundreds of miles and sweeps through ever changing and always breathtaking landscapes both above and below the
water on a round trip through The Komodo National Park.
Then in 2005, it was actually
on my 28th birthday, I happened to meet Andrew in Bangkok and it was my open
water instructor who had been telling me about him since 1999 and trying to get us together and for whatever reason it didn't work but in 2005 we finally met and then he invited me to come and visit him
on this
liveaboard and it ended up our third date, was like four weeks sailing around in Raja Ampat.
If you are not new to the world of scuba then a PADI Open
Water Diver license is acceptable in most resorts and
on most
liveaboards and daytrip boats provided you have an intermediate level of diving experience.
Most of the dives sites are easy and suitable for Padi Open
Water divers but exploring the more remote areas
on liveaboard is more suitable for experienced divers.
