Ok so after our 6.30 am surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing
wave height breaking in the 1 - 2ft + sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left with the tide rising and the wind light out of the North we knew where we we had to go to find the right waves.
I have had an sms surf report in from Leo @ Bali-Surfing.com who surfed at Nusa Dua this morning calling
wave height breaking in the waist to chest high plus region.
Just to get the ball rolling my 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking pretty good and showing
wave height breaking in the chest to over head high class between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Alright then, yesterday mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was only showing
wave height breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left in the waist to chest high region.
Our first surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban that morning was still showing
wave height breaking in the head to double head high range from Kuta Reef to Airport Left.
Today the 17th our 7.00 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing
wave height breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left in a very fun looking 2 - 4ft.

This mornings 7.30 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing
wave height breaking in the waist to over head range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Today the 23rd and our 6.45 Am surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban still showing that 2 - 2ft + of
wave height breaking from Kuta Reef through to Airport Left.
First off this mornings 6.30 AM surf recon on the Outer reefs here in Tuban still had
wave height breaking in the chest to over head class between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban wasn't looking that promising and only showing
wave height breaking in the 1 - 2ft region between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
We arrived at Krupuk Pt around 8.30 AM to find
wave height breaking in the 2 - 3ft range with clean and glassy surfing conditions.
While our 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing
wave height breaking between Kuta Reef and Airports in the 2 - 3ft with the odd bigger freaky hitting Middle Reef.
This morning Ketut's 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing
wave height breaking in the 2 - 4ft + range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
arriving around 9.00 am just as the tide was starting to run back in to find
wave height breaking on the Racetrack section in the 2 - 3ft + range.

Arriving at Keramas around 7.30 AM to find

break in the 2 - 3ft range with the off bigger freak sets.

height, and the jagged shoreline of the west coast offers a variety of

Apparently we have a had a nice little boost in
wave height over night and at the time I got the news there were some double head high
waves breaking down at Padang Padang.
Our Keramas surf report came through at 9.00 am calling in
wave height on the main
break to be in the 2 - 3 foot range with 5 surfers riding the lower end of the tide.
Wave
height was a good 2 - 4ft + with the best
waves breaking on the river mouth and the sand bar sections.

wave height to be only
breaking in the 1 - 2ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Waves will start to
break in water 1 / 3rd the
height of the
wave.
Arriving over on the East Coast of Bali around 9.00 AM to find
wave height still a
breaking in the solid 3 - 5ft class.
Wave
height was
breaking in the 2 - 4ft class, well over head on the set
waves and fairly consistent.
This morning how ever our 6.30 AM surf check on the Outer reefs here in Tuban was showing a slight improvement in
wave height with 1 - 2 footers
breaking between Kuta reef and Airports with a fresh NW wind on it and that change in wind direction makes all the difference down this end of the island.
Our man over on Bali's East Coast phoned through at 6.30 AM calling
wave height on the main
break of Keramas at 1 - 2ft + with clean and glassy surfing conditions.
Bingin was also getting a little too much swell hitting it with
wave height in the 3 - 5ft class, the bigger ones were tending to
break out too far and too wide too hit the right part of the volcanic rock bottom barrel section.
After a session at CP Ketut took the boys back down to Kapung Pt where
wave height was also
breaking in the 2 - 4ft class with only 10 surfers in the water, so it was on again for another session at Kapung Pt.
Our man from Keramas phoned through at 7.30 AM yesterday morning calling in
wave height on the manin
break at 2 - 3ft with 15 surfers in the water.
Today's G - Land Surf Report from our good friends at the G - Land Surf Camp was calling in
wave height to be
breaking from Kongs down through to the bottom of Money Tree's in the head to almost double head high class.

The 24th and our morning surf check of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still only showing
wave height to be
breaking in the 1 - 1ft + range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
This morning the 26th and our 6.45 Am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing a further drop in
wave height with 3 - 4ft +
waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left / Right.
Our afternoon surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was still showing
wave height to
breaking in the 2 - 4ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Today the 2nd and our 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer reefs of Tuban was showing a nice boostr in
wave height with 2 - 4ft
waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Wave
height had also improved over night with waist to head high plus
waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
NB: another check on the situation @ 12.00 midday was showing
wave height now down in the 1 - 2ft + sector and hardly
breaking with the top of the tide just passing.
