This break may very well be the brother break to the main Dominical beach break and therefore also provides consistent
waves at high tide with both left and right breaking waves.
Waves at high tide are said to be fat and slow, or lumpy due to the large amount or volume of water that is sitting over the sand banks or reef on that particular beach.

Take a walk down the steps leading to the Algar Seco rock formations, where you'll hear the
waves crashing against them
at high tide.

I've found the
wave barreling
at low
tide, while
high tide and mid-
tide are much better for beginners or badass old timing long boarders.
When the
tide drops, it can expose previously hidden reef, rocks, sand, etc., and when the
tide is
high, it can cover up the surf spot with so much water that it ceases to have any
waves at all.
Best viewed
at high tide or during winter storms, make sure to keep your eye on the ocean since sneaker
waves can surge in without warning
at any time.
The
wave is going to work much better
at high tide as it comes in, which provides decent
waves for long boarders, or beginner short boarders.

high tide with swells and wind coming from the southwest and east respectively.

wave height was still only in the waist to chest
high range, but with the
tide still running in there was a big chance of some head to over head
high waves yet to come.

wave is fuller and much easier to ride, perfect for surfers who are not accustomed to fast tubing

at the time but Middle Reef did have a few fun looking head
high waves peeling off.
Firstly, most of the
waves are beach breaks; a surfer will probably stop surfing
at high tide when the
waves become fat and difficult to catch but a body boarder can still have fun on the shore break.

tide it works from the point whilst
at high tide their is a large forgiving beach break with both left and right hand

A left - hand point break, «Cedros» is a beautiful
wave, but only works
at high tide.
Especially as the
tide was filling in, so we were happy to see
wave height in the 2 - 3ft or waist to head

Sept 25 Today a much mellower day.The wind started to blow offshore around 10 O'clock and conditions cleaned up quickly on the low
tide.Still some solid
waves in the 6 - 8ft category.A crew of about twenty surfers sampling the goods on The ledge and Moneytrees.Again,
wave selection being the key.The afternoon
high tide session went down
at Moneytrees on a slightly dropping swell, but still some well overhead
waves on offer and most of good quality.

waves at Panaitan Island, through the pure natural - foot perfection of Lagundri Bay, to the ocean - going adventure off the Mentawais, the dense jungle lifestyle of Grajagan, volcanic power

High so the best
waves were found down
at Temple's and on the Main Peak sections.
The
tide was still on the bottomg of the Low
at the time but Middle Reef was delivering some waist to head
high waves and there were a few surfers already out there getting into em.
With only 1 - 2ft + of
wave height showing between Kuta Reef and Airports we decided to wait for the afternoon
high tide and have a fun surf down Legian
at Padma st. And to all our surprise there were some really fun left and right handers to play with.

tide showed
waves to be in the head
high plus range and the odd double overhead coming through
at Kongs and some nice ones hitting The Ledge and Moneytrees.Some very long rides were had by the new crew of surfers that arrived this morning.Still a good mellow vibe in the water and plenty of
waves for all.The afternoon low
tide session was again in good condition and a good days surfing was had by all and everyone anticipating a further rise in swell.Was also nice to see a visiting crew of Balinese surfers from Uluwatu enjoying the fruits of G - Land and all surfing
at a very
high level.
With the
tide on the top of the
High at the time the best
waves were happening on Kuta Reef and Airport Left and I dare say there would have also been some
waves breaking around
at Airport Right as well.

high to double overhead sells hitting the entire section of reef.Nice morning
