It's nearly impossible to get ALL of the dark
wax out of a brush, and you don't want color transfer on the next piece you refinish that you only wanted to be clear waxed.

I normally just use gear oil applied with a
brush at home on a stand, or low - fling chain
wax out of the can when
out on the road for extended period
of time (all - day trips).
This is one big mirror (4 x 5) and I didn't feel like scrubbing on a
wax then going back later to buff it
out — the Topcoat Finish was a quick
brush on coat, one layer was enough to seal the paint, leaving it matte, but still popping the true colors
of the chalk / clay paints -
Take
wax out of the tin and place it on a paper plate to pull from with your Ultimate
Wax Brush or rag.
