Business Class cabin and to see if it was

way a reasonable substitute for the other
Business Class cabins American Airlines offers across the Atlantic.

While that's still a long
way from a flat bed
in business class, it can be significantly more comfortable than economy
class and I wouldn't mind flying that on a daytime
flight!
On the redemption side, the award chart to / from Europe isn't too bad (62,500 miles for a transatlantic one -
way in business class) and you get access to much better availability on AF / KL's own
flights that when booking with Delta.
Most people will want to pick a nonstop
flight and only the Asiana
flight has an award seat available
in Business Class, so I'm going to pick that one (it's 60,000 miles for the one -
way plus $ 77.50
in taxes).
If you really apply yourself to the accumulation of frequent flyer miles (and there are lots of
ways to do it that are actually quite easy), you might find yourself on a long - haul
business class flight, enjoying luxury
in the sky — all for less than the price of an economy ticket.
For example, if you wanted to use Avios to book American
flights, flying transcontinentally from New York to Los Angeles would only cost you 9,000 Avios with this bonus instead of 12,500 each
way in economy, and 18,000 Avios instead of 25,000
in business class.

way, increase 2.5 k miles each
way in business (to 70k), and remain unchanged
in first
class (80k) on
flights operated by United.
So a
flight from LGA to Cleveland
in business class will cost 13,500 Avios each
way.
If you go the Singapore Airlines route, starting from anywhere but Singapore you'll have a connection on the
way to Australia, giving an extra 3 - 4 + hours of
business class on another
flight, plus the joys of Singapore's lounge at its home base,
in transit.
The only thing booked so far is our one -
way flight on Iberia
in business class (for 50k Avios) and our hotel
in Rome for 5 nights... the brand new Le Meridien Visconte, an SPG property.
Business Class award space is non-existent, which is a shame because some
flights are long and Singapore charges only 17,500 miles one
way intra-Southwest Pacific
