ways.

I am not yet in my 40's but was raised in a very alternative community
of people in nyc in the 70's and 80's... amidst the depression
of the city at that time, there were tons
of free - thinking individuals, groups and companies leading the
way presenting biofuel - concepts and ideas, or promoting industries based on recycling things rather than being a disposable
society... there have always been large numbers
of people in the pro-environment movement country and world - wide that cried out about how alternative thinking would lead to newer, more positive and less harmfully - impacting industries and tried to introduce inventions that could have spurred new economies... Had the auto industry not blocked things, we could have had more energy efficient cars decades ago... but they did not want the «expense»
of helping foster this new industry... it is so damn sad it took a war to make people «wake up» about alternative fuels and how exciting the options are.

Although solar - generated electricity certainly has its place, and meets a specific need, it's just one
way in which we can use the
free energy that streams down on us from the sun, and unfortunately, it also seems
way more desirable to our modern gadget - centric
society than the simple method
of using solar energy directly, through devices such as solar cookers, solar ovens, and solar water heaters.
Anticipating that others will behave in this
way, in turn, allows everyone to more confidently invest in denial at t = 0: To avoid this deleterious outcome, organizations and
societies will find it desirable to set up ex-ante guarantees such as whistle - blower protections, devil's advocates, constitutional rights to
free speech, independence
of the press, etc..
We would be

Fox: [Interrupting] No, I'll tell you what you need for cleaner technologies, you need to actually argue for greater investment in R&D, actually have a vision that is not about limits, and natures revenege and worrying about cutting down CO2 emissions, a vibrant, healthy, future - oriented

way forward is to develop lots
of new technologies, to industrialise everything.
