The only
way to build peace and justice in our world - a world where goodness is at
home and real
love flourishes - is for all
of us to live as faithfully as we can through the grace
of Jesus Christ.
The consequence
of these reflections is the full recognition that to have been created in God's image means, for human beings, that we are created in the image
of God as
Love.134 That has all - encompassing implications for the
way in which we are invited to exercise power in our relationships with one another and with all
of creation on our
home planet.
The idea
of coming
home after such an experience will mean that
home is different even though it hasn't changed, you see relationships differently, you experience
love differently and in many
ways that equates to still being out there — you bring out there back
home with you and no - one is ever the same again.

of the monks, Brother Brenden, «I know it doesn't work this
way, but I wish I could take the pieces I
