film's style to represent the central character's less - than - sane mindset - with the heightened reality
of the movie's environment going a long
way towards fleshing
out the protagonist and his deranged psyche.
One
of the greatest and funniest horror
films ever made, it has a great story and a powerful scenes with great visuals and exquisite acting, I am a big horror fan, this one is good, it is really good, although I was barging for something smaller and simpler, but it turned
out to be
way too different than expected!
Where the
film began on a distinctly glum note, then built toward a spirit
of renewal, the pilot episode
of the sitcom starts
out noisy and stays that
way.
What results is an understandably less epic
film than any
of the Lord
of the Rings (even Fellowship) but one which repeatedly goes

film authentic.
The
film is also fun and engaging, dishing
out a decent supply
of chuckles along the
way.
One thing that makes this
film enjoyable is the young William Holden as Raft's younger brother.Raft has seen the errors
of his
ways and is forced to go back to crime in a effort to keep his brother
out.
One
of the best
films of 2000... This wonderfully conceived and executed
film reveals the subtle
ways people reach
out for each other.
Fortunately the action is handled in a much more controlled
way than the second
film with the viewer actually being able to walk
out of the cinema without a coma.

It's ultimately clear, however, that Fear and Desire simply isn't able to justify its feature - length running time (ie the whole thing feels padded -
out even at 61 minutes), with the movie's less - than - consistent vibe paving the
way for a second half that could hardly be less interesting or anti-climactic - which does, in the end, confirm the
film's place as a fairly ineffective first effort that does, at least, highlight the eye - catching visual sensibilities
of its preternaturally - talented director.
The
film is «I, Tonya,» well on its
way toward gaining nominations and wins from scores
of groups handing
out end - year awards.
