Beyond that, and back to the glucose tests, I understand the
point of it and the comparative danger of the actual disease going undiagnosed and untreated, therefore have tested for it
in some
way with all but one kiddo, during a
pregnancy when I was TOLD that due to a lack of risk factors, I wasn't going to be required to do it.
You are
point blank trying to make the case that some mothers, some women, are better than others
in the
way they approach
pregnancy and childbirth.
When moms to be fail to make appointments at their doctor for prenatal care right from the moment after that
pregnancy test
points to yes, they are placing their baby
in harm's
way.
The tww can cause women to obsess about signs and changes that they see
in their body as this can be the only
way to determine at that
point if they might be pregnant or not, as for most of that time it is too early to take a
pregnancy test.
You can even find some funny
ways to announce
in a photo, like Dad passed out after seeing the positive
pregnancy test, or Dad holding two bags of ice and mom
pointing to her tummy for an «Ice, Ice Baby» parody.
And that's one of the things that I think, a
point that needs belaboring with more people is that a lot what we see, I mean, a huge proponent of going back to basics
in terms of childbirth, moving more towards with low risk or no risk
pregnancies, more home birth and more midwives and things like that, going back to the
way things used to be done before a lot of interventions.
