Update, October 12: Sports Interactive have revealed how Football Manager's new scouting system will attempt to stay closer to
the ways real clubs...

as much as I hate arsene, that was very childish and classless, their are more classy
ways to hurt arsene, I can't believe fans are fist fighting, PEOPLE WE ARE BROTHERS AND SISTERS, let's attack the
real enemy, whilst we lash out and pummel each other, those rich fat snobs (arsene included) laugh there
way to the bank, let's show them who owns the
club, abandon that stadium and they'll be holding emergency meetings with arsenal care group on how to fix the problem, we'll have them eating out of our hands, verbal arguments are fine, I never badmouth arsene or arsenal in front of a chelsea supporters but when I'm with a gooner I vent my frustration and that's perfectly fine, that's why this website exists.........
He talked about the
way there are no
real superstars at the
club and every player is treated as an equal and also about how people can get the wrong idea about footballers just from what they see on the pitch.
With every day passing without the signing of a
real top quality striker my resentment of the
way this
club is managed without any ambition makes me more and more angry and ashamed.
Arsenal won't pay the money = not getting the player Also if wenger wants Seri he will have to pay 45 / 50mil for him aswell so that won't happen either coz wenger wants players for the price they were in the 90's when u look a the teams needs its obvious lemar would be a massive players for us the same
way santi was coz we miss
real talent so u'd think arsenal would make sure lemar is signed so they can concentrate on a CM but it's not looking good and I'm sick of supporting the worst
club in the transfer market iv ever seen!
Arsenal is the second richest
club in the list (the first is Manchester City),
way richer than PSG,
Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, etc..
Of course it would be silly to suggest that winning any game, cup or otherwise, isn't good for the
club, but let's remember just how problematic FA Cup success has been for this
club... I'm certainly not going to suggest I didn't enjoy seeing Arsenal win, I'm a fan of this
club first and foremost, but how bad are things when you find yourself secretly wishing that your own team lost so that just maybe
real change would finally come... I resent this team for even making me feel such thoughts and it's going to take a lot of effort on their part to earn my trust again... this
club has treated the fans so poorly that it has created an incredibly fragile and toxic environment, so much so that a «what have you done for me lately» mentality has emerged... fans rise and fall depending on the results of each game because we don't have faith in those in charge to make the necessary changes to personnel and tactics... each time we win many fans attack any dissenting voices and make unrealistic claims about the players, the manager and the potential for unprecedented success... every time we lose the boo - birds run rampant, calling for heads to roll and predicting the worst... regardless of what side you fall on, it's not your fault, both sides are simply overcompensating for the horrible state of affairs that have been percolating for several years... it's hard to take the long view when those in charge have lied incessantly and refuse to take any responsibilities for their own actions... in the end, we are trapped by the same catch - 22 that ManU faced upon Fergie's exit... less fearful of maintaining the status quo than facing the unknown, which was validated, wrongly or rightly, by witnessing the difficulties they have faced during this transitory period... to be honest, the thing that scares me most is that this team has never prepared whatsoever for this eventuality, which considering our frugal nature and the
way we have shunned many of our most revered former players is more than a little disconcerting
and frankly we might deserve this fate because we've let it go on so long... Gazidis is the equivalent of a prison bitch, Kroenke is the destroyer of all sports teams he touches and their are
way too many complacent fans who believe we are the only
club in the world that can't find a suitable replacement (try explaining to fans of
clubs like Bayern, Barcelona and
Real, who have had more manager changes in the last 4 year than we've experienced in 35 seasons)
The 29 - year - old front - man has been on the books at
Real Madrid since all the
way back in 2009, going on to score 182 goals in 375 appearances for the
club in a distinguished career.
The other
way of looking at the statement would be to rule out a move to Catalan
club Barca, with the likelihood that Man United would be leading the chase for him should we fail to agree terms with the former
Real Madrid star.
with his attitude as if we have to be his servant, get back to Chilie and get those life values back, he is a football player, but a man first, and as a player and man, his all attitude sucks, i don't know why wenger kept him and take that shit, means we have to take it... I told yo before, get his ass on training camp, ruining all day, shut him up, keep him out of the squad, not even in bench to bring his laim superior attitude... All money he is making, he should think of Chilie street and reality for kids he was once... He is in a great city, a
club that won in this league and would be in CL as every year without this type of laim
ways... So, of course no one wants him around during that ceremony, not even in the room... Get
real sanchez, you came from misery, benched for years by gardiola too, sell out, poor minded..
Defenders of Guardiola will say it is almost impossibly unfair for fans and pundits alike to expect him to repeat the treble won by Jupp Heynckes in 2012/13 straight away, but a 5 - 0 aggregate defeat to
Real Madrid last season and a quarter - final exit to Porto this term would certainly be some
way from good enough for a
club of this size and with players of this talent.
Worth around # 35m, Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi looks to be on his
way to Old Trafford, with the Argentine international an ideal addition to the
club's shakey backline after failed attempts to land
Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos.
The Sun have recently claimed Mourinho has held talks with PSG, but a return to the Bernabeu would be a
real surprise given the
way his first spell with the
club ended.
Regardless of what he said his intention is not to enable the
club to compete at the higher levels as he takes cash from the
club but adds nothing by
way of
real investment, He's NOT the only culprit though the rest of the baord are as complicate in this as Silent stan The idea that the author is prpomoting is a great idea if there was any cohesion between the fans groups and someone who had enough capitol to back it up into some action, sadly we live in a world where 80 % of the worlds wealth is controlled by 20 % of the worlds population and silent stan is one of those 20 % he ai nt going anywhere any time soon and thats the sad fact.

nice to see you crawl out of your hole just in time to offer your 2 cents worth once again... unlike yourself I started following this team long before Wenger arrived on the scene and will continue to do so long after he's gone... in his earlier years I admired the cerebral elements he brought to the EPL, which at that point was more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts of Arsene, Dein & staff to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product on the field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful manager wasn't afraid to bring strong personalities and / or world - class players into the fold without being fearful of how said players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all changed about 10 years ago and culminated in the removal of all our greatest players, both young and old, without any
real replacements coming in... from Henry to RVP to Fabergas and Nasri, it was easy to see that this
club was no longer interested in competing at the highest levels... instead of being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium, Wenger chose to side with management and in doing so became the «front man» for this corporation pretending to be a world - class soccer
club... without the «front man» this organization would have been exposed numerous years earlier, so his presence was imperative if the facade was to continue... it's for this reason and more that I despise what this once great man and Kroenke has done to my beloved
club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative
way they have treated the fans, like myself, is largely indefensible and this is why I felt it necessary to start offering my opinion in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many years but as long as the same shit continues to exist I will voice my opinions and if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team to pretend to follow
Whilst the pendulum is looking to be swinging towards the
way of the Nou Camp, The Express reported that
Real Madrid have also asserted their interest and that the France international knows about both
clubs» interest.
we were awful for 60 mins and fortunate to be just one down and the good... we took a point from being decent for 30 mins all but securing third place... As for realism it's simple... There is no
way a
real arsenal fan could watch that performance and be confident that we will be challenging for title in 12 months time... So if that is what we want the realist fan asks what needs to change... and if we rule out the first best option... which as a realist I do... to get rid of wenger... then in our second best world it's a matter of where we need to strengthen... Sadly at the point realism breaks down because in the absence of first best option we are in the fantasy world of the cheese eating surrender monkey where 11 yr olds are zee future of zee
club
Either
way, 0 % chance we are getting him when
Real Madrid, Barca, PSG and every other
club also want him, and they have even more money.
If you have balls I need you tomorrow to resign, will win the la liga and copa with you or without you, Gtfo I hate you, I always doubted you I've never soported you, y ’ all can check my profile, I knew your style was Gona lead to this but sad part is not this bad, we blew a 4 - 1 lead to Roma, no disrespect to Roma but they ain't no Barca, I guess they are after today, I've been drinking and feeling
real bad, because I love this
club and I knew we were heading this
way, it's so sad, I'll be a Barca fan forever no mater what.
Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the
club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of
real intent have been the
real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching
ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a
real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this
club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the
way and simply reply... f *** off
In wenger we trust COYG u spoilt little brats, you muppets ain't even been tested in your arsenal fan career never seen your
club finish lower then fourth every year we play in cl against the big boys and you lot act like were in crisis and things are so bad wow I'm beyond belief just can't get my head around the
way you lot act sometimes step back a bit a think a little you twats most of you in your life time have never seen your team finish lower then fourth yes fûc #ing fourth most of you don't even no what it's like to be a
real fan wen your team are struggling finishing mid table and still saying you love the
club and protect them never in my life have I heard a generation of arsenal fans critise manager players board everything about our
club wen things our knowere near as bad as you make out to be and could be.
It may be annoying for Arsenal fans to hear Jose Mourinho regularly aiming digs at Arsene Wenger and our
club and I agree with our manager and others like the Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini who have criticised the Chelsea boss for the
way he talks about other
clubs and rival managers, but there is only one
real way for us to rise above all the mind games and that is to beat him.
I'm so sick of people telling those of us who are disgruntled fans to relax and give this
club time to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate at this juncture they should take a good long look at themselves in the mirror because they are a big part of the problem... no other «big»
club's fans would stand for this shit for nearly as long as we have... think about it, we've witnessed a changing of the guard at every major
club in England, Spain, France and Germany in the last several years because those «big»
clubs failed to live up to expectations (Barcelona,
Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many fans have become as fragile as our current manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone of these clubs have found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's fans, telling countless lies (no world class players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the biggest lie of all: that we couldn't spend because of the new stadium but once it was paid off we could compete with any team in the world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and if we don't demand that those in charge put soccer first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by choosing our next coach the same way they choose our players, on the cheap... even so, we need to see what mustache will do if left to his own devices so he will have to show his true colours... only then can we purge this club and start

This could be his and the
club's best chance because with the likes of Barcelona and
Real Madrid, the UCL looks a long
way out of our reach, as starkly highlighted by our pasting by Bayern Munich this week.
I know that Wenger has been willing to spend more money in recent transfer windows and the
club has given the boss more money to spend, but there is no
way that he would go anywhere near that amount for a player that he thought was overpriced when Napoli paid
Real Madrid 40 million euros, according to Wikipedia, a couple of years ago.
If Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham,
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Athletico Madrid, Juventus, Inter Milan, PSG, Bayern Munich, Porto, Benfica, Ajax, PSV, or any other
club that is the one of richest in their respective leagues had a manager whose reign went the
way Arsene Wenger's has gone, they'd be flying banners clamouring for that manager to leave as well.
It's not over till fat lady sings. The
way you all talk of spending, Leeds top in 70s, Liverpool in top 80s, United in 90s Arsenal 1998to 2005 now Chelsea, City but with Mega bucks Arsenal in top 4 sniffing up there Arse and new stadium and not in debt Look at Liecester at bot but, come Teusday they will bring there fans down and have a good time supporting them even when they loose Stop blaming Wenger it's the bloody players who need a boot up the arse.We were well beaten but on the day woefull.Aston Villa only lost 2 - 1, before lost 5 - 0 So rap up and get behind the
club if you are
real fans.OUR DAY Will Come and soon CB
In other news, our team seems to be rounding nicely into form, with a productive off - season and several new additions already settling in, there seems to be a renewed sense of confidence in the air... our well - oiled machine has conducted business again early this year, so we can just sit back, kick our feet up and watch all those other suckers scramble to make panic moves in the 11th hour... of course, we need to tie up a few loose ends but our team of savvy negotiators, under the tutelage of our faithful leader, will perform their usual magic with ample time to spare... I have to laugh when I look around the soccer world and see all those teams look upon us with envy and scorn as they struggle to mimic our seemingly infallible business model... thank goodness the powers that be had the foresight and fortitude to resist the temptations of the modern football era... instead of listening to all the experts and simply taking the easy
way out by making the necessary improvements on the field and in the front office, we chose the path never traveled... we are truly pioneers in our field... sometimes you just have to have faith in the people that have always conducted themselves in a respectful and honest fashion... most fans aren't so fortunate, they will never know what it's like to follow a team that treats everyone in and around the
club as if they were an extended member of the family... all for one I say... so when you wake up this morning, please try not to gloat when you see rival fans pacing back and forth waiting for their respective teams to pull the usual panic buys, just say nothing and be thankful that it isn't you... like I've always said, this is why you stay the course... this is when the
real benefits of having someone in charge for over 2 decades really pays off... have a great day fellow Gunners
Or it at least looks that
way after his agent decided to fan the already raging flames between his client and the
club by linking Hleb with a possible move to
Real Madrid.
And I can see no
real way of loosening Thier grip on the
club.
It is not just the fact that he led the
club to some amazing success either, but the
way he did it and then remained loyal to us when the likes of
Real Madrid came calling.
But what pisses me off is the
way the
club / wenger keep the fans clueless to what their
real intentions are regarding the transfers!
And with
real signs of improvement at the
club, perhaps next season will see Arsenal really erase the pain of our early exit by going all the
way.
Alexis Sanchez is now said to be on the wishlist of
Real, and while no Gunners fan would agree to let him go, if it meant we could strike a deal for both James and Morata to come the other
way, with a fee no doubt thrown on top, maybe it would be a clever move for our
club.
Spanish paper Marca is linking Cruzeiro midfielder Lucas Silva with
Real Madrid, on the assumption that Sami Khedira is on his
way out of the
club.
talk about skewing the stats to fit your own conclusions... this is like a slap in the face to every
real Arsenal fan... have you no shame, have you no dignity, have you no sense of right from wrong... if you think everything was so well orchestrated why is everyone and their brother laughing at the
way in which we conduct business both on and off the field... either you're a paid hack or a delusional buffoon... regardless you can't be a genuine Arsenal fan because the difficulties facing this
club having been going on for years and this latest episode in our pathetic recent history is but a glaring reminder of how far we have fallen... I'm not going to waste my time discrediting every single ridiculous statement you made in your love letter to Wenger, but if you write another article I will gladly expose you for the fraud you truly are... this
club is in desperate need of a serious cleansing and for you to try and package this dog and pony show as a well - oiled machine is a direct insult to anyone who has supported this team during the supposed «lean» years... the deceptive and disrespectful manner in which this organization has treated it's fans is an abomination to supporters everywhere and for you to even try to justify their actions is akin to saying just shut - up and keep filling our pockets... so please crawl back under whatever stone you crawled out from under and think carefully before you spew this type of propaganda ever again
That fear has now been confirmed by the
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, as reported by Metro, so in essence the
club has left the
way clear for another
club to carry on the transfer pursuit and that
club may well be Arsenal.
Although I've found it very cathartic to speak, vent and end occasionally rant about all things Arsenal, we need to act carefully and intelligently right now or we're going to get played by this
club even worse than at present... the pro-Wengerites and the suits, who represent a considerable proportion of the season ticket holders, don't want to believe that there is no plan and that Wenger has mailed it in for several years now or that things are going to get much worse before they get better... why would they... many have spent a considerable sum buying some of the highest priced tickets in the World... they want to have a front row seat to see something special and to be seen doing so, which simply provides ample justification for the expense and the time invested... to many of them, Wenger is the sun in their soccer universe... his awkward disposition, misplaced arrogance and his utter lack of balls makes him a rather unusual cult figure, but the cerebral narrative seemed to embolden those who already felt pretty highly of themselves... many might not even of really liked football that much before his arrival and rarely games they weren't attending... as such, they desperately believe that Wenger, and only Wenger, can supply them with their required fix... if he goes, they were wrong and that's a tough pill to swallow... they would have to admit that they were duped... they will definitely resent whoever made them feel this
way, but of course it will be too late by then... so when we go overboard with ridiculous comments bordering of anarchy, it scares the shit out of them and they shift their blame towards us rather than at those who really perpetrated this act of treason... we aren't the enemy... we simply woke much earlier and the reason our comments have gotten more vile in recent years is out of utter frustration... in order for any
real change to occur at this
club we need to bring as many supporters as possible with us or the big money interests will fade and our ultimate objective will be lost... so it's time to focus on the head instead of the heart for now
Part of me would like to see a
Real Madrid approach, baby out with the bathwater every 2 years — but is a mighty expensive
way to run a
club and probably only RM can get away with it.
Having 4
real top quality players fighting for 2 positions is great for the
club keeps everyone giving there all to keep / fight their
way into the team.
just reading around and all if not most rags are saying our net spend is # 46 million how can they tell that when they do nt even know what our
real budget is if it was # 100 million then we are in profit by quite a bit i do nt really know what they base there assumptions on this is where you could do with swiss ramble to dissect what really was spent from what i could see most of our 5 transfers were covered by out goings and c / l monies earned debuchy - vela deal, chambers - vermalen deal, ospina - cesc and miquel deals sanchez c / l monies and other monies recovered from wages and old installment based deals this is the same with welbeck i would imagine if not then poldolski will be sold in jan to cover this as i think he was going to be sold and this would have covered welbecks transfer more or less also and people do nt always realize that arsenal have money coming in from more than one source to cover transfers not just puma and emirates deals we have property arm of the
club which makes money for transfers also outstanding debts we are owed of old transfers we receive each year on song cesc maybe van persie and all other structured deals in installment payments sales we just flogged miquel as an example and all the monies from released wages and youths sold its a bit to complex to just say we have a net spend of xyz when arsenal do nt even make the budget public so they have no starting point from which to go from i bet you we have broke even or even made a slight profit as we are self sustaining it would make sense that we can break even or at least make the net spend under # 10 million each year at least screw then all we are the arsenal we do thing our
way
On his
way out of
Real Madrid on a free transfer, Sami Khedira is wanted by Arsenal and would be a superb signing for nothing, having won the Champions League and World Cup as a top performer for
club and country.
Joining a
club of arsenal s stature has its ups and downs. There is a requirement of how our players should perform when on the pitch. The following is a list of players who were wrong to choose arsenal.Aaron ramsey - Even though he is the most favoured of all players at the
club now.I cant help but think how it would have gone for Him if he decided to search for other greener pastures. He was a clear talented footballer during his time at cardiff but he hasnt been raised with the discipline at arsenal. You can always see ramseys all round strengths but sadly Its not helping him or the
club with his foward moving pleasurr. He is so Over used and its sometimes difficult for him to get used to the rythm of the game. With time you realise he gets low ib confidence and his engine gets wasted. He needed somebody who would have managed him properly and with care and that person is certainpy not wenger. You would have been better off at Manu mate.Calum chambers - Came us a very talented player from southampton with raw talent. He was very good at first but wenger found a
way to reduce his level of confidence. His inexperience was left exposed and wenger did nt do anything to resolve that problem and instead He looked for other talented players.Alex oxlade chamberlain - Another very talented player who needed only his skilled sharpened and his character modelled. That and he was ready to become a world beater. But wenger decided to let him run and run like a headless chicken causing him to be often injured and damaging his confidence.Who knows what would have happened to him gad he decided to look for more greener pasture. He is surely a much better player than this.Theo walcott - Another player who was tipped to have a very bright future. He had it in him.But all he needed was an appropriate manager who would nurture him with discipline and help him with his talent. But on Coming to arsenal he was given Much more responsiblities putting more weight on his shoulders on top of that another player who was recklessly managed with his talent and never coming off age because his character wasnt properly shaped.Mesut ozil - Al right i agree he perfoms well just recently. But imagine all the legendary players he was often compared to during his time at
real madrid. On coming to arsenal he found no rotation often overused, suffered many injuries and his confidence dwindled. It is pretty clear arsene does not take any responsibility for players. And when at arsenal you have to be your own manager. You need not rely on your manager otherwise you might continue being the same player for the next many years. That is why each and every player are what they are because of their own efforts and wenger had nothing to do with it.Van persie was the same player for over 7 years untill he himself decided to change.Wenger only organises and prepares tge team while the rest is in your court. It is not what so many people make it out to be.Thats why we need to pressure wenger more than our own players. They are their own self managers and wenger needs to take that responsibility
In turn, they'll have money to oversee a
real shake up which arguably could go some
way to easing the scrutiny that the
club is currently under.
Finally, and to reiterate an earlier point, the
way forward for this
club is to stop paying below average bench players so much money and to focus the bulk of the weekly wages on establishing a dominant starting 11... this will require the
club to eat some wages in order to ship some players out, get rid of any deadwood over the age of 21, develop a cutting edge scouting service and put your money where your mouth is for once... I would much rather have a starting 11 that was world - class and give some reasonably paid young blue - chippers playing time when injuries occur than have 2 or 3 world class players surrounded by a plethora of overpaid and underwhelming players... management would no longer be able to sell their half - baked plans to the fans under the guise of «winning now», which any intelligent fan knows is a crap - shoot at best, and instead create a a squad that provides hope for the present and the future... this is exactly the model that has been used by Barcelona,
Real & Bayern, so it should be good enough for us... by the
way, until Messi & Ronaldo re-signed just recently all 3
clubs weekly wages were on par with ours... think about that for a second or two
I think it all depends on how it's handled, if cech has his heart set on Arsenal then maureen won't stand in his
way, but I do think we'll have to pay a bit more than other
clubs would as it is becoming clear that we are a
real threat, last season we had fantastic first half and this season it's looking to be great 2nd half so next season it's all on us.
There is a very
real fear, though, that the
way our
club is run could mean that Arsene Wenger and the board would agree to sell our stars if the right offer came along.
The
way Gabriel's career has gone through the gears and the performances that Arsenal fans have already seen on the pitch since his January transfer, combined with his easy going nature and adaptability off the pitch is very good news for his new
club and suggests to me that we are going to have a
real star on our hands.
