The combination of Iron Galaxy and MvC should have made for a stellar remake, but while Iron Galaxy did a decent job assembling and updating the games, though both games lack character specific challenge modes, they can do little to hide the fact that the original games in the package are some of the weaker fighting games that Capcom has put out.

Oddly enough the Light Saber combat in the Kinect Star Wars game were the weakest of the 5 modes (2 were saber combat but one kind of mixed it up in the campaign with speeder bikes and some on rails shooting).
What makes this a bit more problematic (and perhaps evens the playing field in the process) is that, although faster, not only are the strength of fever mode chains a bit weaker than regular chains for most characters, but getting a game over in fever mode means you lose the entire match.
