weapons class instead of «veiled violence»?

Rather than picking a character
class from a number of pre-set
classes, you're
instead given a character who is a jack of all trades, with your skill set, abilities and approach to combat
instead defined by what equipment you take into battle, including
weapons.
You may be confined to a singular
class at the beginning, but it's entirely feasible to not use any of your
class skills and
instead make entire builds out of
weapon builds, fighters and mages guild skills, and of course the addition of Vampire and Werewolf builds can be thrown in for good measure.
