This past weekend I
wore this fun bell - sleeved dress from Avenue with these gorgeous and oh - so comfortable over the knee boots and felt festive while also being comfy (if you've been visiting SGSB for awhile now — thank you — but you also probably know that I love
wearing flat - er
shoes because when my feet hurt, I become a not - so - nice person).
That's why I'm
wearing these jeans with heels,
because I think I look super short if I would
wear flat shoes under them:p What do you think?
For slightly - less - than - big nights out, I always
wear a deep garnet mens sleeveless textured T with rolled - up leather black or baggy tan suede or cobalt leather pants and the same basket woven
shoes, or my usual
flat black ankle boots, and a heavy Nepali silver necklace that is so over the top (it's massive, with turquoise and coral, carving in the silver, and goes all the way down to my navel) that I adore,
because it always breaks the ice when people ask me if they can touch it, and where it came from.
While the word basic has not been used by the eager wearers of everything «all the rage» (and I didn't know it existed), I couldn't help but notice the fear lurking behind those sartorial reproaches: How dare I resist the pull of the crowd, why wouldn't I try with all my might to prove I belong there, how can I afford to simply

shoes of my baseness being big, outdoorish things verging on men's or being men's)... And

Wore my skinnies more in the summer
because i love them with
flat sandals... but come boot and
shoe weather I'm back in my straight leg jeans.

because you can roll them up or down to

I can't just drive in my work
shoes because my feet hurt and driving also
wears away at the heels of my nice

Flat has became my go - to - go pair of
shoes to
wear both on the city or holiday
because it's extremely comfortable!
I
wear a size 8 in all
shoes except
flats which I get in an 8.5... Seeing the reviews I saw that I needed to get them larger
because they ran small, so I got an 8.5 thinking it would work, but they were still tight - I wouldn't have gotten a pair of socks on with them.
And
because you also see me
wearing flats in this post, that's
because I believe in
wearing boots while you commute and then changing into human
shoes when you get to your destination.
