How do you get more
wear out of your wardrobe?
I am also a fan of many of these pieces because they can easily transition to fall, and I'm all about versatility and getting a lot of
wear out of my wardrobe!

Now that summer is fast approaching, it's time for us to retire
out comfortable knitwear to the back
of our
wardrobes and start thinking about what to
wear to all those picnics and BBQs.
And finally, as someone who has an awful lot
of black, white, and cream in her
wardrobe (I tend to infuse color via accessories),
wearing that insanely awesome Tasma dress was a fun way to step
out of my comfort zone and
wear the rainbow.
Featuring a few key pieces, including a great pair
of jeans, a jacket or cardigan, a small selection
of blouses or t - shirts, and a dress that can be
worn casually or formally, a capsule
wardrobe will enable you to look fantastic regardless
of the occasion, and without the need for a desperate search through your clothes the night before a big day
out.
Loosely speaking, the Swedish
wardrobe could be likened to a capsule
wardrobe — a minimalist, highly practical closet created by clearing
out unwanted or unused clothes and replacing them with a limited number
of loved, highly versatile garments, which can ultimately be
worn together.
And lastly, denim dresses are still my favourites, and although I did had quite a few in my
wardrobe already, since I get so much
wear out of them, this year I invested in a couple more, and I couldn't really say no to this ASOS Denim Cold Shoulder Smock Dress!
I actually
wore this dress when I was away but when the sun came
out I pulled it
out of the
wardrobe again.
The rest
of the things I ended up getting I mostly got
out of boredom — after a while I just wanted to
wear something besides my capsule
wardrobe, but I will say I really do miss how quickly I was able to get ready for work with fewer options.
Black skinny jeans — These are the item I probably
wear most
out of everything in my
wardrobe.
:) I'm debating what to
wear for CHristmas - it's been a while since I bought a new dress for the occasion but I haven't seen anything that catches my eye yet, so it might be picking a piece
out of my
wardrobe instead!
Now, I know I won't be
wearing these pants into November because then they will become to thin and start looking
out of place, but for now, I like how they are adding more variety to my fall
wardrobe.
Plus,
wearing a dress as a skirt would also be a great option if you're doing a capsule
wardrobe (like we discussed in the last post) to get more outfits
out of a few items.
Basics are key pieces in any
wardrobe and will be
worn countless times and will never go
out of style.
It's Official... I am Falling for F L O R A L S this Fall ♥ Talk about a tongue twister hehe:p As I slowly begin embracing the fall season, I am switching up my
wardrobe and pulling
out some
of my fall favorites (since that is the best part
of season changes... new looks to
wear!!)
I'm certain that I wouldn't
wear white trainers on a night
out, a la Kate Moss, but I WILL
wear them to run around my everyday life and to add in a little bit
of laid - back cool to my fairly structured
wardrobe.
Lately I've been working very hard to clear
out my closet
of all the things that I never
wear, and minimize my
wardrobe to my favorite items that I feel great in.
You'll get tons

out of these pieces and they're easy to incorporate into your Fall / Winter
wardrobe: Swap
out the tights for skinny jeans or leggings and
wear the dress unbuttoned; for a more casual look, layer with sweaters or t - shirts.
This jacket has been on repeat in my
wardrobe; I've been
wearing it over everything from dresses to lightweight sweatshirts, as an afterthought coming
out of the gym on brisk nights, etc..
Every Spring I like to assess my closet or drawers and make a note in my phone under «notes»
of items I need to invest in or be on the look
out for as I build on my Spring
wear wardrobe.
The quality
of these cheaper brands are lesser than more expensive brands such as PUG and Unique Vintage, but for the pinup on a budget or for worry - free daily
wear, these cheaper dresses can easily help bulk
out your
wardrobe.
I strongly believe in investing in the fundamental
wardrobe pieces that will never go
out of style and that you'll be able to
wear countless ways for years and years to come.
I've heard
of the Dressing Room before and will have to check these ones
out you've recommended as at the minute I'm building a capsule collection gradually with basics and putting anything I don't
wear to charity to create a smaller
wardrobe with pieces I will
wear constantly!

wearing every single time I pull it
out of my
wardrobe as if it's the first debut

I get such a thrill pulling a 20 year old skirt or pair
of shoes

worn for years!

When picking a tulle skirt, go for a color that both makes you happy (this is all about living

of those ballerina dreams after all) but that you can also coordinate with other pieces in your
wardrobe since, you know,
wearing a tulle skirt isn't an every day sort
of thing.

There are people who actually feel afraid
of wearing white jeans but the moment you come
out of this old rule and start
wearing them, White pants can be discovered as a

wear my clothes in as many different ways as possible.

I am doing what I can in all other aspects
of my
wardrobe, and I really do think that I will get a lot
of wear out of this coat.
It's so hard going through your
wardrobe and taking
out the pieces that you no longer
wear (for whatever reasons) but it is so gratifying to get rid
of all the clutter.
Now that you've started
wearing your spring clothes, you may be noticing that your

When I bought this vest at Old Navy, I wasn't sure how much

So I try to maximize my
wardrobe by selecting pieces that are versatile and I know I'll love and get a lot
of wear out of... I also sell clothes EVERY season to Buffalo Exchange.
I've never, ever been good at getting a lot
of mileage
out pieces in my
wardrobe — I always
wear every piece the exact same way with the exact same accessories every.
I mean, I hope I give you enough ideas that you can go
out and incorporate them into your own
wardrobe (the rule
of three,
wearing monochrome, pattern mixing, etc) but I know some people are visual learners.
A little black dress is a
wardrobe essential, so you'll be sure to get more
wear out of this than just one party.
It's a great way to test
out new jewelry or refresh your
wardrobe without spending a lot
of money and filling up your jewelry box with items you might not
wear in a few months.
The second look came
out of no where, I didn't know what to
wear, so I just dive in my
wardrobe and put the most impossible pieces together, I love contradictions.
And I'm sure that many
of you have the struggle
of staring at your
wardrobe in the morning trying to figure
out what kind
of outfit you can
wear to work and also
wear...
I don't normally veer too far from my relatively basic neutral outfits, however I like these two trends and I think I'll be
wearing more
of these skirts with some button down blouses and T shirts just to get
out of my
wardrobe rutt.
