after labor day is very simple: monochrome and statement accents.
For unknown reasons, the «no
white shoes / bottoms
after Labor Day» rule has lingered long
after I've discarded similarly stifling rules, and I've been subconsciously trying to pack
in all of my
white -
wearing during these last few weeks of August.
Labor Day signaled the end of summer and so the rich would «return home» from vacations / traveling, etc. and stop
wearing white after Labor Day because they'd be back
