I had most of these
items in my
closet already and all I really bought was a body chain
from Lovisa which I
wore every day and glitter (of course).
I took back some
items that I have never
worn that have just been hanging in my
closet from this summer.
I only owned very few basic pieces in neutral colors while pregnant but I
wore many
items from my regular non-maternity
closet all the way till the day I had to go in for her birth.
And, here is two different ways I styled this dress last year: These were during my 30 × 30 Challenge I did last April... I selected 30
items from my
closet and
wore only those
items for 30 days, so these were real outfits I
wore last Spring.
Since starting the blog in 2010, my entire goal for A Dash of Details has been to inspire you with outfits I would actual
wear, and outfits you could replicate with
items from your own
closet.
This approach is much more effective than adding a flashy statement piece
from an expensive designer,
wearing the
item once or twice, and then having it sit in the back of the
closet.
Which is why this fluffy emerald green sweater
from Bershka stuck, and here I am
wearing it with other
items that were already in my
closet.

worn items in my
closet.
