So I pulled
out fringy scarf,
boots and slow - cooker — yeehaw, fall
weather is here.
While I am totally ready for cooler
weather, hot lattes, scarves,
boots and all things fall I'm definitely still enjoying all of the herbs in my herb garden (because they are the ONLY plants that came
out edible this year...) and with those herbs comes zucchini, naturally.
Here in Canada, we got some amazing and warm
weather about a week ago, I took
out my combat
boots and dusted off my light coats.
Now, I'm not usually a fan of cold
weather, but since we haven't really jumped into fall or winter yet this year, I am looking forward to breaking
out the winter
boots, scarves and coats.
While in Northern California it is still 90 degrees
out and in full summer mode in terms of
weather (so I guess no
boots or scarves quite yet), September means PUMPKIN is officially welcome to join in the kitchen fun.
I've pulled
out my bulky sweaters and Ugg
boots from storage and I'm ready to brave the
weather!

This past weekend was so nice as the
weather was warming up into the 60's and then Monday and Tuesday the cold front hit back in and wham

I'm all for fall
weather, but can we at least finish August and get through a little bit of September before we start breaking
out jackets and riding

With a
weather a little above 30 degrees, I couldn't help but make a quick stop to a nearby park for a couple - minute photo shoot before continuing our
outing; and trust me when I say I do not always wear open toes when it's freezing cold and snows
out, but with this type of temperature in mid-January in the Midwest, I could not pass the urge to give
boots a little break:).

I love transitional
weather because its still warm enough to be comfortable without a sweater, but you can start bringing back
out jeans and
boots that were put away for the summer.
When the
weather cools my sweaters get thicker, I break
out the tights and
boots, but I'm as likely to wear that vivid yellow in December as I am in July.
As soon as the
weather was cool enough, I couldn't wait to break
out all my fall favorites: jackets, and scarves, and
boots, oh my!
I'm looking forward to cooler
weather (I live in an area with desert - like temps) so I can bust
out the
boots!

out the flannels,

Hooray for warm
weather, I've been
out in a knee length fake fur coat and
boots today and I'm still shivering with cold.
I like them, but they're more spring / fall than winter
boots, so I'm hoping to get more wear
out of them now that the
weather is warming up.
The heeled leather
boot look is a tried - and - true staple for going
out, but your average heeled
boot probably isn't too waterproof and can be damaged by inclement
weather.
In this
weather is hard to walk around in heels and I don't want to break my legs or get a bruised bottom by falling on an ice puddle, so I wear
