Having been for my first overseas
trip (
with husband and three teenagers in tow) in June / July this year, I am now looking forward to revisiting Paris in April, but the
weather will be cooler and less predictable, so thinking that that trench looks perfect, the ones that I've got don't offer much warmth and I really feel the cold.
After the initial excitement of the free flight to Miami and 70 degree

weather trips I've been taking lately, I've been getting a ton of questions about swimsuit coverups.
I always love seeing what other people bring
with them on
trips so I figured I'd share my «must - haves» for
trips to warmer
weather!
As
with any
trip, the first thing that I do is breakdown where we are going, what the
weather will be like, what we plan to do and how many days / nights I need to pack for.
The
weather is pretty mild right now and we can enjoy light cottons, bare legs and pretty lemon sorbet lace dresses — but I still couldn't resist buying an (Oh - so Fendi) coat yesterday in a vintage shop, because A) I», obsessed
with jackets and coats, B) it's good to be prepared for city
trips and C) I just adore winter fashion and its cosy layers & textures, big coats, and boots, the glamourous dresses, jewel colours... and this year we can expect all of the above in RED, as well as some powerful suiting, gothic and fairy tale heroines and a lot of leather, pleather, and patent — excellent!!
We will be heading to Seattle for a quick
trip with the hubs, but plan on taking in the beautiful spring
weather and getting in some of our favorite spots.
