That tiny bit of colour was used to tie in
the weathered wood bench I brought in from outside to place along the wall leading into our living room and kitchen.

I'm 100 % sure I'm finished with the
bench, right now it sits with just a coat of the same «
weather grey» stain on it, but at night almost looks powdered blue, and I'd like to see a little more of a
wood tone in it.
The cabin is sectioned into threes: Clean Zone, where the front passengers sit, and where rugged floor mats and door sills were inspired by Japanese sunoko slatted
wood flooring; Wet Zone, also characterized by all -
weather mats (where passengers can stow damp swimsuits / snow clothing or muddy boots) and located just behind the front seats, as well as below the rear second row
bench seat; and, Rear Cargo Zone.
Add a longline dining table with a
weathered wood top and riveted metalwork base, teamed with wooden
benches and worn leather chairs for seating.
Add it to your powder room vanity for a stylish DIY update, or hang it in the entryway to complement a
weathered wood storage
bench.
Then we have the stained ash from the
bench which coordinates with the beside table and finally a
weathered wood in the two frames that hang on opposite walls.
